There are multiple warning lights on my dash at this time. My instrument panel went black. I can no longer tell how fast I'm going I can no longer tell if my safety features are on or off. I can no longer see if my tire pressure is good or bad. I've checked the fuses and there is no blown fuse. Also my odometer reading is on this screen and I'm not able to see it.

While traveling 54 mph my transmission stop responding to my gas peddle input. I pulled over to the side of the highway and placed the selector into neutral and back into drive which help with the problem but it returned within minutes. The check engine light illuminated and I drove to the mechanic and was told that the diagnostic code was the transmission sensor and the sensor was checked but know problems were found. With this car, I have pulled into the highway, in traffic , in the car stalled, as if it had extreme Turbo Lag which is very dangerous. The transmission is awful.

Driving on the freeway, cruise control set, a remnant of a large tire was in my lane, I could not avoid hitting it, it caused my car to lose control, drive up on the concrete divider placed by construction crews, came back down to the freeway and hit the back of a semi causing my car to then spin out of control and eventually landing in a ditch. The entire front end of the car was damaged, the car was deemed totaled by the auto repair place. During this incident none of the airbags deployed.

on Feb 20, 2023, during my evening lunch break about 7:30 pm, I drove my car to a nearby gas station to fill it. Seems like I need to replace the struts and shocks on my 2013 528i xDrive. The shop quoted me a rather large sum for parts and labor, which led me to wonder if I can do this as a DIY project. I have some questions about it that I’m hoping someone on here can answer: When I search for replacement parts and specify my exact vehicle, I don’t seem to get many or any results, depending on the site. But when I drop the xDrive specification and search for just “2013 528i” struts and shocks I get what appears to be a few decent choices. That gas damper strut on the trunk lid failed, allowing the trunk lid to sprint open dangerously fast. I have been hit in the face with it and also on the top of my head when it rebounds. The car is available for inspection. We will have the car serviced soon and have them confirm the failure. The car/failure has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance or others.
