1997 쉐보레 캐벌리어, 모든 속도에서 주행 시 문제 발생. 저속에서 앞-좌측에서 튀는 느낌 발생 (마치 한 타이어만 작은 과속방지턱을 넘거나 그 타이어가 타원형일 때의 느낌). 속도가 올라갈수록 진동도 빨라지지만 50km/h 이상에서는 진동이 더 빨라지지 않음. 특정 속도에서 간헐적으로 발생.

BMW 420d xDrive의 앞뒤 타이어 공기압이 다른 이유를 알고 싶음. 무게 분배만 영향을 미치는 줄 알았는데, 실제로는 뒤쪽 공기압이 더 높아야 함. 앞쪽이 무거울 것으로 예상되는데 왜 뒤쪽이 더 높은지 의문.

중고차 구입 후 앞바퀴는 4계절용 타이어 2개, 뒤바퀴는 겨울용 타이어 2개(트레드 90% 남음). 앞바퀴의 낡은 겨울용 타이어를 중고 올시즌 타이어로 교체하고, 뒤바퀴의 겨울용 타이어는 겨울까지 그대로 사용할 수 있는지 궁금함.

타이어 공기압 모니터링 시스템(TPMS)이 간헐적으로 특정 타이어의 압력 수치를 읽지 못하고 * 표시가 나타나며, 펑크 경고등이 점등됨. 어느 타이어가 신호를 못 받을지 무작위적이며, 같은 주행 중이나 다음 시동 시 정상으로 돌아오기도 함.

19인치 자동차 타이어가 16인치 타이어보다 훨씬 비싼 이유는 무엇인가? 225/45/19와 215/65/16을 비교하면 외경이 정확히 같은데도 가격이 2배 이상이다. 더 작은 사이드월이 더 뻣뻣해야 한다는 설명이 있지만, 225/55/17도 215/65/16보다 여전히 더 비싸다. 사이드월이 거의 같은 강도가 필요하고 재료 사용량도 거의 동일할 것이다. 또한 19인치 타이어가 16인치 타이어에 비해 어떤 장점이 있는지 궁금하다? 외경이 거의 같다면 마모 속도도 정확히 같아야 한다.
