For the past few months I have experienced a sudden loss of power while driving on the freeway and/or while attempting to accelerate. When vehicle is stopped from slow speeds, the car lurches to a stop because the brakes grab much harder than the pressure being applied to the brake pedal would indicate. These touchy brakes can alarm passengers in the vehicle and pedestrians near the vehicle causing them to be frightened that the vehicle hit something. Toyota developed a fix for this problem which is described by T-SB-0033-20 but the fix was not published until 4/8/20 (less than 6 months before my 36 month warranty expired) and was only applicable to vehicles in warranty so when I discovered the fix, my car was out of warrant

Fuel\propulsion system, There was no power given to the engine when I turned a corner with an exorbitant amount of time. There was a car at least 100 yards away. When I put my foot on the gas pedal there was no power. It felt like the car did not switch gears for the fuel pump or Pistons just were not working correctly. The car almost rear-ended me and caused a major accident. This has happened multiple times.

The hood doesn't stay open. The hood uses two gas struts to be opened and they failed causing the hood to slam into my head and neck. The hood doesn't have a prop up bar which can keep the hood propped open. My car is a 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid with 70,000 miles on it. The hood was opened all the way for 5 minutes before it slammed shut on me.

When opening the trunk the trunk lid opens very fast and makes contact with the rear window. This has a very high potential to break the rear glass making it unable to see out off.

I am, of course talking about parts of the car itself, not the license plates and personal effects. The car is a 2002 Daewoo Lanos. It is being junked because the engine failed (the cylinder head cracked), and I decided to buy a different vehicle instead of replacing the engine. Vehicle was in stop and go traffic on I94 when pressing the brake pedal it failed. Second try with both feet and pedal again went to the floor with no resulting stopping power. Found article Toyota has begun recall of Camry's due to failure of Power Boost. Warnings did not show up on display until vehicle was about 10 feet from another vehicle showing failure of ICS system and see dealer. After filing a complaint on the other front tire, I checked the other side and the tire is doing the exact same thing. Hankook Kinergy GT 235/45R18 94v OEM tires on 2018 Toyota Camry with 31215 miles. Sidewall bubble along lettering line. This will be the 3rd tire on this car to fail in this manner.

This is the second tire that has bubbled in the same area. 2 tires have been replaced and the remaining 2 will now be replaced due to safety concerns. No pictures were taken of first tire failure.

During early periods of ownership, the transmission noticeably experienced hard, jerking shifts during acceleration and de-acceleration between the first several gears of this 8-speed automatic transmission.
