I am probably long-overdue writing a Readers' Car thread for any one of my formers cars, but this seemed like as good an excuse as any...A change in work circumstances meant that we were looking to jump off the PCP/lease train for 12 or so months and get something lower cost and sensible to truck the family about in. Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
