The front seats are comical. To gain access to the rear they hinge forward, well the bolsters and back do with the squab staying where it is. With the hinge point being far forward, as it tips the headrest hits the roof so access to the rear is very restricted! The guys at Fiat must just gone “o well, it will do”.I also had the earlier mk1 105tc with the 1.6 twin

16v was a real performance car. I don’t know how they sold so many 8v cars, when back in the mid 80’s you could get a Fiat Strada 130 TC Abarth or Lancia Delta 1.6 HF Turbo for similar money.

I'd like to put my car up for sale - which currently has a private plate on it. Although it's a cheap plate, it is numerically sequential with the plate I have on another car and hence I'd like to keep it.However - the original registration for this car was cloned. As soon as I bought the car (used), i got a couple of different fines through the post - I got an incident number which cancelled those fairly easily, and they stopped a week later when I put the private plate on.But, I really don't want the hassle of that again if the car gets the original registration again and I can't find any in

However, here I am and here's the start of the story.To gain some perspective we need to jump in the time machine and look back to my late teens where, after crashing my 1st car after 2 days of driving, a 1.4 Ford Escort, I pick up my first Citroen Saxo. I often fantasise about driving some sort of massive truck with bull bars which I could use to dispatch s like the ones described above who think it's ok to try and block overtakes and other similar fkwittery. Just give their rear quarter a little love tap and send them spinning off into oblivion. Then I return to reality and remember this would probably be frowned upon......

I’d been trying hard to manage without one as my daily driver, but not helped by the excellent Stick Legs thread on here, I cracked and got another one.Quick photo:Potted version of my Land-Rover history.
