I have a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dci. My car is not overheating and blowers are blowing cool. The lower radiator hose and the bottom of the radiator are cold. I changed the thermostat and drained the cooling system twice. Still no heat. Any ideas?

If I were to go with a coolant flush every 15 to 20 thousand miles is this considered a little too excessive? It’s a ford fiesta mk 6 the service interval by the manufacturer is recommended at 100 thousand miles but I prefer to change it more often as my old Hyundai service interval was only 24 thousand miles.

I'm a techie and we're always spending insane amounts of money to improve our computer cooling systems, as improved cooling directly correlates to higher stable processing speeds. Since I brought this car at dealer shop June 1 2021 and I’m about a month went to repair vacuum pump which paid to the mechanic after that check engine light came out little by little start to have more problem until October 1st 2021 stop working doesn’t run no more couldn’t do nothing at all it does start but doesn’t run when the car is Lyft up the wheel kinda runs little bit but putting on D and wheel goes reverse and putting on R the wheel doesn’t run nothing at all. There have been times in the summer when my car is in my driveway all day in 100-degree weather, and combined with the sun, it must be 140+ degrees in my car. Can it damage or shorten the life of my car’s air conditioning to immediately crank the A/C to full blast and Max A/C on the coldest temperature right when I turn the car on in order for it to cool off as fast as possible? I’m wondering if it can work it too hard or if any components can wear out fast from forcing suddenly changes in temperature.

My father bought a new car and in the owners manual it advises to keep the engine running for a little while after stopping, the car in question is a 2016 Skoda Rapid with no turbo on it. I know in turbo charged cars, you should keep the engine running after spirited driving for a few minutes so that cool oil can reach the turbo charger but what about normally aspirated cars, should I do the same so that cool oil circulates the engine block. And if so, is it also a good idea to do the same even if you were not pushing the engine hard?

When first backing out of garage or parking spot, at a slow-creeping speed, without use of throttle pedal, attempting to control backward motion with light brake pedal the vehicle's brakes will abruptly active fully halting rearward motion. Hello everyone, About 6 months ago, my dad drove through a large mud puddle (not his brightest moment) and ever since then, the abs light has been turned on. while diagnosing the problem, about 50% of the time the pc claims it is the abs and the other 50% it claims its the fuse box or some sort of sensor near the hood i never heard about. the car has been dragged out of the mud in an unprofessional manner, maybe a few wires were disconnected by mistake. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Mitsubishi Galant 2003, 2.4L engine with 234k miles on it. When I drive it the temperature gauge gets up to exactly midway, until exactly 30 minutes. Then it goes up to about 2/3 or 3/4 of the way up and then fluctuates between that point and midway after that. What started all this was that I was seeing the temperature gauge going up and found a small radiator leak and small leaks in my radiator hoses. So I replaced the radiator, coolant temperature sensor, radiator hoses, and the thermostat. Ever since I've had the car (I got it with 48k on it) I've never seen the temperature gauge

Most cars these days have a cooling fan that only runs when needed.The advantages in fuel economy ,warmup time ,pollution,HP are well documented elsewhere.The popular methods are the electric fan and the viscous coupled fan.The basic idea is that the fan runs when the engine is hot and does not when the engine is cold .If the car is running at speed the airflow through the radiator grill increases .At a certain road speed the flow may be enough to cool the engine anyway .What would this speed be ? Would it be worth it to shut down the fan at high road speeds?

Radiators for the automatic version of my car have a couple of extra coolant outlets at the bottom for cooling the auto transmission. I was sent the wrong radiator and I don't need these in my manual car. Would there be anything wrong with just connecting the two with a length of hose?

I got a recall notice earlier in January 2022. On January 16, 2022 as I am driving to work a message appeared on my dash saying Low Braking power Stop in a safe place see owners manual. I haven't driven my car since and I keep contacting the local dealership since it happened and they keep telling me the remedy suppose to be in February and still nothing. My gear indicator needle occasionally fails to line up with the letters on my 2001 Grand Marquis. It’s a well-maintained vehicle with 125,000 miles. I just came back from Mavis. They were trying to change a front tire but the wheel is frozen to the hub. They tried penetrating oil, heating and pounding. I’m not sure how long they kept the penetrating oil before heating. They were unsuccessful in getting the Unfortunately, the tire is so worn it really needs to be changed. Any suggestions?
