I have a weakness for classic cars, but I don’t really like these. Each to their own. If you like the midget, just get this one and fix it for years of weekend laughs!Is it really a shed? I thought they were about getting a daily car for peanuts, but this would hardly be your daily.

I will go against the grain here! Horrid little cars, especially on today’s roads. This is coming from a bloke who used to race them back in the day and has owned no end of them. I also have a 1275GT Mini and a S1 Elise so I know a bit about driving old cars in today’s traffic.I appreciate this goes for many old cars but they are bloody lethal little things. Slow, unpredictable, no grip, no “safety features” at all basically a lottery on roads full of 2.5Ton SUV’s. See the comments about the wipers above, absolutely useless unless it’s not raining. At this price point it’s totally and utterly knackered, which just makes it even more lethal.Why on earth would you entertain one of these when an MGF / MX5 can be bought for the same money and those at least has a modicum of primary safety designed in and would provide just as much fun.Best kept as a museum piece

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
