I like V8's, and I like that you can hear the engine/exhaust more in a convertible generally as well. So count me in. I always enjoyed driving my BiL's E93 M3 too, plus I've also always fancied a V8 Mustang.

Dare I say it, a bit tame for an SV version of a big lambo. When you consider how the aventador evolved into something resembling a missile, this looks a bit like a paint job and some carbon bits.

In general, I don't like four-seat convertibles, but the S Class really is well-resolved. My preference would be an S65 with a twin turbo 6.0l V12, but that doesn't fit the brief here. The E93 M3 looks good roof up or down when compared with the fabric roof alternatives, but I would take a coupe if buying an ///M car.

Somebody bought a Nobel Peace medal for $103m in a charity auction recently. I assume theres some sort of accounting trickery going on with these.

That colour is spectacular.

For a while I have had my eye on a small car to sit in-between family car and weekend car duties. Short list was an UP! GTI and a Panda Cross. Key consideration was it has to carry MTB (on the roof for ease), a dog (inside, not on the roof) and be able to sit on the Motorway every now and again. Performance was not really a consideration, no desire to take the dog for an early morning spirited drive or hurtle around bends with my bike perched on top. As per the thread title, the Cross was preferred and so a Panda hunt commenced. First impressions are, love it. Engine is quirky, I did expect th

Much more than that and you are rarely actually using peak power very often, so it becomes largely irrelevant, it's either being held back by your right foot or the electronics.I think there's room for a bit more. My car's 210-215bhp/ton and it's very quick, but another 50bhp or so would only be a good thingBut how often are you actually WOT at peak power?

This is something that has puzzled me for a long time and it happens with surprising frequency.I often find myself on the motorway driving medium distances and like to sit at a comfortable speed with my cruise control on.Sometimes the road will be fairly quiet and I am sitting in the left lane and a car catches up to me then sits behind while making no attempt to overtake. This car will sit behind me for mile after mile still making no attempt to overtake, but if I move to the left into a filter lane the car behind will speed up and overtake me.The only thing I can think of is that they are usi

A wonderful V8 and 4 adults able to sit in it with relative comfort (people can be prone to exaggeration on the rear seats, but theyre acceptable for a short period - or for children quite comfortably). Many out there for £20s to £60k budgetsAgree, something like this would be nice:

I remember driving into London in 2015 in a new Tesla Model S. I was sat behind an Aston Martin Rapide, on The Ridgeway in a traffic jam in North London. He had paid 3 times the price for a similarly proportioned car that was sat there going nowhere like me, but belching out heat and fumes at 10 mpg in the queue. I just could not reconcile why you would chose the Aston, it was so far behind the Tesla in so many ways, but buyers did and they still do.I suppose some people are only happy if they are publicly showing off their bank balance by the things they are seen in. If it is a T shirt, it has

Ignore cost, what the neighbours think ,financial limits and sped limits. You are have a house in Germany convenient to uncrowded autobahns, easy access to a dozen racetracks.I was thinking about this because we are now awash in cars with 800-900 hp, exotics with over 1000. Not just exotics- think of a Dodge Challenger with 707 hp, ustangs and Corvettes with over 800 and so on,EVs of course can be more. I personally peaked in 2006 with a delimited BMW M6 at 536 BHP. 20 years ago and highest top speed of anything I age owned. Now there are cars with 0-60 times under 3 seconds and the perform

I need a second car to pick kids up from school, do the odd commute once a week and I would like to do the odd track day in it/hillclimb just for fun. I've always ended up in fast FWD stuff and have built race prepped stuff before. I can't justify the cost of doing that these days but I do need a second family car and fancy something RWD that actually feels like a rear biased car that I can provoke a little and have a lot of fun with on a track day. Which kinda leads to me bmw... Ideally an m3 but I'm not stretching anywhere near that budget right now. Could do with some help from some bmw gee

When people grow up, they realise that outright power and performance are not the same thing as a great driving experience. It's the reason why this car has a technically inferior manual box that will make the car slower. The problem is that the car's philosophy is mixed. It's got an engine designed to produce numbers never mind the experience and a transmission designed to deliver an experience never mind the numbers.

Just not used to seeing that sort of number next to that kind of vehicle.I wonder what a similarly low mileage QS would be tendered out at.To use that would take £££ to recommission.Surely it would be cheaper to buy decent regular mk1 and have the drivetrain rebuilt, suspension renewed and the whole car repainted and re trimmed. And if its just as a museum piece never to be driven, then any old nail will do and just spend on the
