New car time for me. I picked this up this week after a 6 week delay thanks to the JLR cyber attack. I ordered it back in June so the overall wait hasn't been terrible. It replaces an M3 Touring that was great but felt a bit small at times. Since the Octa was announced I've loved the idea and all reviews of it are fantastic. The new Defender has grown on me since its introduction and the Octa really does seem to be a car that ticks most boxes for me.They come pretty well loaded as standard. I chose the standard car over the Edition One as I'm not a fan of huge amounts of carbon fibre. C

All due respect to the current Puma, which is a decent car that drives well, but there is only one in my eyes.I had a Mk1 Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver when I was 21 as my daily car. I had one of these but in Estoril blue. I added a strut brace and an Eisenmann exhaust to make it sing! Photo is of us having some fun in the Dolomites along with about 10 other Zeds. Well, I enjoyed it but not so sure my missus did... Pretty basic by todays standards but nice car and even better, I sold it for more than I paid!

Change management is a bugger, so hard to get ideas to evolve and be accepted. It's borne out of a marketing/plc necessity with a tiny production run so they can hype it as sold out and gradually it will be accepted or the plc is in trouble looking 10-20 yrs out (the old adage of any press is free advertising probably has worked)There's so much money sloshing in the upper echelons it will make a great commuting car for your well bonused bankerNot for me but I'm a house or so short of the asking price, so my opinion is worthless......
