So pretty much my Honda civic from 05 has been having cooling issues and I've done some work on the vehicle in attempts to fix the issue; I've replaced the entire engine, replaced both the radiator and fans, leak tested the system and have gone through 3 thermostats none of which have stuck. Though every time right before the engine begins to overheat the overflow reservoir coolant seems to have lightly spray out, I have never witnessed this actually happen but when I do pop the hood after the gauge seems higher than usual there is drops of coolant on the fan and the engine. What do I need to do to get my motorcycle running again after I've left it in my garage for over a year?

When I turn the key in to start all the lights on the dashboard go out completely and when I turn it back to the off position the dash lights back up. What could the problem be if the battery is okay?

This morning I tried to start my motorcycle but the kick-starter failed. It was idle for about a month but it was riding fine before that . My motorcycle doesn't have an electric starter function. The fuel tank has more than a liter of petrol, last I checked. And, the battery is 3 years old. With kick-start being the only option , how can I start my motorcycle , so that I can take it to the nearest mechanic for repair ? I own a BAJAJ CT100, which is a 100cc motorcycle.

I just hand my 1995 Jeep Grande Cherokee 4.0L straight 6 automatic in for tune-up (rotor, cap, wires, plugs, filters oil etc) and trans fluid service at special jeep repair shop. Also had the motor mounts and front suspension arms with bushing replaced four days after the tune up and trans service. Is it possible to push start a car with automatic transmission? Use case: Let's say the battery is dead or you have a bad starter. I know this can be done on manual cars by putting the car in to gear after the car starts moving. Can you do the same with an automatic transmission? Does the automatic transmission type matter? (traditional torque converter, CVT, DCT, etc.)

On my more-or-less stock 1968 Vw Beetle...why is the steering wheel slipping (to a new position) in reference to the wheels...after installing (two) new TRW steering boxes? I had the shop install a new adjustable beam and at the same time, a new TRW steering box. Immediately thereafter when I would turn the steering wheel at slow speeds (eg parallel parking, under heavy load), and then later drive, the steering wheel would have "slipped". I drive a Ford Focus 2004 which has about 104 thousand km on the clock. There is a constant noise from the front right wheel which goes away when I depress the clutch. Moreover around 60km/h and 120-130km/h there is a vibration in the steering wheel which is sometimes more sometimes less. The front tires have seen better days and could/should also be replaced but don't show any irregular wear. What would be the most likely cause? Did anybody have similar experiences?

I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee, 6 cylinder, manual. It starts with no problems. After starting, I can turn the wheel left with no issues, but it is hard to turn the wheel right. I have to give it a good pull and then it will turn. It does not matter if I turn left first or turn right first. The first time I turn the wheel right at all, it sticks. After the first turn right, I don't have any more problems with it. Or, at least I thought not... My drive home is about 30 minutes on a straight highway. I have noticed that I have a knocking noise when I turn full lock or full opposite lock. The noise is a single knock as I reach lock and then another knock as I start turning back. I will intermittently get the same sound when accelerating hard/braking hard. The noise originates in the front right - presumably from the wheel. Since I have recently had a spring break on the left side of the car , I have checked this on the right side and the spring looks fine. The car in question is a 2001 Ford Focus. Any idea what this could be?

I'm working on a 98 Honda Civic. I'm attempting to replace the inner seals. These are the seals which the steering rod rides on and which keeps the power steering fluid in check at that point. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about: What you see looking at you is the end of the R&P unit with the outer tie rod end and coupler (is that what it's called??) pulled off. The black portion of the is the seal. It is recessed into the end of the unit a bit over an inch. My question is: How do you remove the seal without damaging the rod or the housing? 2004 Honda CR-V, ~140k miles, overall good condition. Got tie rod ends, ball joints, and shocks replaced this summer so it's probably not any of those. The wobble showed up suddenly about a week ago and has come and gone since then--it only appears at highway speeds (>~60mph) though sometimes it will be slight and sometimes it will be dramatic and terrifying. I just purchased a previously owned 2008 Chevrolet Malibu with 100,000 K on it. Whenever I make a sharp left or right turn (making a 90 degree turn rather than a shallow turn), the front end makes a clunk sound after I pull out of the turn while centering the steering wheel. It also does this clunking when I accelerate hard or brake hard (this doesn't happen as frequently as turning). 2014 Acura TSX, 157k miles, this car has an overflow coolant reservoir Yesterday I noticed a bubble sound when shutting off car. I noticed the coolant level in the reservoir was at the MIN mark. Thankfully the car didn’t run hot. After letting the car cool off, I toped it off to the MAX line. The problem is I did a complete drain and refill about 30k miles ago. This seems excessive to me, for the level to go from MAX to MIN in ~30k miles. I don’t know if this is normal?
