Hi, I have a 2010 Mazda 6 car. I received a letter for airbag recall. When I dropped my car for service they said it would 1 hr to fix the airbag. Later they called me and said the parts are not available and it would take another 1 month for the parts to arrive. The provided me with an alternative car. They parked my car in an open parking space. When I called after 1 month, they said its an early stage for the recall. They are not sure when the parts will come. Is it ok the leave the car idle for few months in an open space ? Any damage will happen to the car ? Thanks, Vijay

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE 2.4 and I’m dealing with a no start problem that I can’t figure out. I replaced the power steering pump on my U code engine and am having difficulty knowing the configuration of the high pressure seal(s) at the pump. Good morning. Recently I conducted a search on why, after long-term storage of my car about 5 months, one of my tires pressure was 4psi lower than the others. I had set them all a little high, 40psi for storage. Upon returning, three of them had dropped to 35psi - the weather was colder - but one was at 32. My left turn signal is blinking fast. One night it was fast, then the next night it was slow, then the next night it was fast again. Now it’s fast all the time. I was going to just buy a cheap bulb to replace it, but then I happened to notice that it does light up (briefly, as expected) when I use my remote to lock the car. Any ideas of things that could cause that? I haven’t tried to swap bulbs with the other side just yet, but will soon.

At various time the car won’t start. You can hear the starter gear engage but almost instantly disengage. Starter and battery have been replace along with tipem board. The car has been towed 6 times because it won’t start for my wife only to start upon arrival at the repair shop. If you put the ignition in the start position and place the transmission in reverse or neutral, then turn the ignition off and then put the transmission back in park it will start up. Mazda 5 - does 2x6k commute lately - previously all freeway miles. I use Mobil 1 and Wix filter - change yearly. Once sent it to lab after about 15months of use - Blackstone recommended extending the interval - but I am doing yearly, 4k. Since the last oil change, 1k, oil is relatively dark compared to Volt or 2017 Prius with 40k. So thinking of using it in my next oil change: add the Flush and run for 20min on the existing oil put some cheap engine oil (use the same filter?) and drain it again after 10min of idling chnage filter and put Mobil 1 What do u guys think? I just came back from Mavis. They were trying to change a front tire but the wheel is frozen to the hub. They tried penetrating oil, heating and pounding. I’m not sure how long they kept the penetrating oil before heating. They were unsuccessful in getting the Unfortunately, the tire is so worn it really needs to be changed. Any suggestions?

I found out today I need to do the brakes on my f150. I went amd got pads and rotors before the ford dealer closed. But when I started i realized I should probably replace the calipers too. So I have a question, should l wait until Monday and get motorcraft from the dealer or go pick up some carquest premium ones from advance auto? I can live without the truck for a few days but id like to finish it up too. Im guessing motorcraft is reman like the carquest. What do you all think?

Hi I have trouble with diagnosing no comm between modules. The relays is clicking when I open or clôose door or when ignition is on. The network shows intermittent short (can low to can high and also to ground but only to ground pins on DLC not on physical metal.) When measured disconnected PCM the short was on PCM but also on BCM so when disconnected both of them the network was finally not shorted. I think something between these modules is shorted and making both of them go crazy. Both of them were replaced, checked the grounds… Any of you have some tips which I should do next? thanks topol
