Modern design trends, aerodynamics and pedestrian safety scores have also led them to move the three-pointed star into the front grille, reserving the ornaments exclusively for Maybach, S-Class and GLS SUV in the US; in Europe and other markets the only way to get an ornament-topped car other than those three models is to order an E-Class with the Exclusive or Elegance Edition exterior trim packages (with only the Exclusive Edition package offered in the UK).It comes with one on the bonnet on the new S350d I believe in the UK as well. Love an MB with a star on the bonnet.Same bud, and I've always liked them too. The current diesel-engined W223 S-Class is badged S450d; all S-Class, whether sold in the US, Europe or the UK as mentioned, come with the bonnet ornament as standard except for the AMG S63 E Performance which comes with the Panamericana vertical grille and a flush-fitting AMG crest in place of the ornament. That S450d is properly rare as well, and there's only 1 for sale currently on the Trader, versus 32 of the S350d in comparison. I'd be happy in either of them though don't get me wrong, and I've always had a soft spot for the S-Class, and I'm not really all that fond of saloons either to be honest.

However, quickly arrive behind a snail-moving vehicle. Country lane, but quite wide and easy to make progress. Except we have the brake lights in front sending out Morse Code signals; applies them for almost everything (or imagined). Next, traffic lights, stops, and then turns left, no signal, and snail acceleration; we've still got the Morse Code signals going. We proceed like this, at about half the speed the road is capable of, for about
Hope this is in the right place. I couldn't see another location that fitted this tbh. Hello All,Project here with, well, my project. I know a lot of you like a build thread so I'm bringing you one with a slight difference. It's much bigger than you will be used to. And not because I'm trying to push a Merlin engine into a Lamborghini SV. It's because it weighs 12 tons, has four wheel drive and locking diffs and will eventually go around the world (hopefully). Sadly it will only 56mph, but 15mpg to the gallon it won't feel far off the usual pistonhead fill up experience The idea is to take a m

This car was sold all over the world in different specifications that's the only difference. People seem to think JDM is for any car from Japan which it isn't.You're entirely incorrect here. JDM can be applied to any car car destined for the Japanese domestic market.Yes, people incorrectly say 'JDM' when it's a Civic originally sold in Peterborough, but this is a Japanese only model originally sold domestically in Japan.

I appreciate that this isn t a very Pistonheads kind of vehicle but I thought it might be of a little bit of interest to some. Despite the love I had for my Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross winter car, I ve always really hankered after one of the latest Suzuki Jimny s but never actually did it whilst they were officially available in the UK. However, I recently got the chance to pick up a brand new import and decided to go for it.The car is exactly as it left the factory but I did get the dealer to upgrade the tyres for me as I d read some pretty poor (snow) reviews about the Dunlop Grand Trek tyres that

My A tech who is 55 years old had a cough one day and medically retired the next. He has a particularly nasty cancer. I'm just lost what to do. He's not only a good employee but a good friend. Been with me 8 years. I have always been lucky with finding techs...
