I have recently fallen victim to the slow brigade and their antics. A slow line of traffic going no more than 50mph in a NSL section of the east bound A65 near Settle. I was on my motorbike heading home from work (Barrow) and had been stuck behind them for several miles. When I got the oppertunity to overtake, I took it, much to the annoyance of the lead car. A tosser in a Tesla decided to accelerate, I raised to the bait...just returned my notice to prosicute from North Yorkshire police, 70mph. Entirely my doing, but I hope the Tesla driver suffers from severe constipation that can only be rel

Partly to enter the dual carriagway at a speed that is not 30, partly to have a smooth transition. In fact looking at the road, it already duals before the NSL sign, but they drive right up to the sign at 30.In the recent past, people interpreted the law with some common sense, "adjusting" it slightly to suit the situation. There are now a growing crowd of folk who obey the law to the letter for the sake of obeying. Or so it seems.I guess its part of the same movement that doesn't like (hates) people overtaking them (and flashing their lights in anger), or as I recently found out, accellerate to try and stop your overtake, to then scream at you that the limit is 30!! (whilst they reached at least 60 trying to stop me).I was out for a spirited drive somewhere northern. I'd crawled through the village, past the speed trap at 30mph, reached the other side and saw the NSL sign and accelerated. Completely failing to see the police officer with the camera standing behind the NSL sign - literally behind the sign. Got to 40 something and received 3 points for that, so I can see why people wait to put their foot down. That's appalling, realy appalling. In this instance there really is nowhere for the cops to hide (not even on the left - its wide open). The cars sticking to it are not doing it out of suspicion (unless they think A&S police now have a black R8)What's interesting (I was going to say important, but really, its not) is that is 100% a new phenomenon - I've lived on this road for a long time (in the past) and drive down and up it several times a week.I have to say that I don't really follow the logic of your point here? I'm not a slow driver but my normal MO would be to reach the NSL sign and the

This car was sold all over the world in different specifications that's the only difference. People seem to think JDM is for any car from Japan which it isn't.You're entirely incorrect here. JDM can be applied to any car car destined for the Japanese domestic market.Yes, people incorrectly say 'JDM' when it's a Civic originally sold in Peterborough, but this is a Japanese only model originally sold domestically in Japan.

I appreciate that this isn t a very Pistonheads kind of vehicle but I thought it might be of a little bit of interest to some. Despite the love I had for my Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross winter car, I ve always really hankered after one of the latest Suzuki Jimny s but never actually did it whilst they were officially available in the UK. However, I recently got the chance to pick up a brand new import and decided to go for it.The car is exactly as it left the factory but I did get the dealer to upgrade the tyres for me as I d read some pretty poor (snow) reviews about the Dunlop Grand Trek tyres that

My A tech who is 55 years old had a cough one day and medically retired the next. He has a particularly nasty cancer. I'm just lost what to do. He's not only a good employee but a good friend. Been with me 8 years. I have always been lucky with finding techs...
