It staggers me that people don't get it, especially on a forum that is supposedly for car enthusiasts.I'm still not getting it. I would get it if this had a one off 7 cylinder engine, or was RWD. Anyone could make summat similar from any other RS3 for a few grand in upgrades. It's pretty nifty but nowhere near legitimately special. If they really meant it it should've been along the lines of a Golf G60 Limited.I'm sure 11 people somewhere will feel differently but I'm finding it hard to imagine billionaire bunfights over securing one Edited by bloomen on Thursday 22 October 03:27 Really meant what? Its 750 cars worldwide - Its hardly going to shift the share price its a good bye to the RS3 with some trick bits and a crazy premium that also sheds a light on how good the standard car is and might get a few people in the show room for one of them.They could have charged what they like, very rich people will think nothing of dropping loose change on this for a winter all seasons car to get them down their gravel and country lane to the store for some milk, cos their Pagani is a bit loose in the frost. There will be no bun fights, no drama, its really not that deep.

Lets start my new build thread with a photo of my previous car . I know, it`s not really the way these things usually start but I feel it's necessary to explain the plans and reasoning for buying the R8.I built my previous track car over 17 years, starting from a bare shell and learning a massive amount along the way until I ended up with a very fast Golf MK2 track car. The downside to this was that the more I developed the car, the less usable it became on the road. That wasn’t a big deal as I do a lot of track days in it, but recently things have changed.My wife and I are now very fortunate

I appreciate that this isn t a very Pistonheads kind of vehicle but I thought it might be of a little bit of interest to some. Despite the love I had for my Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross winter car, I ve always really hankered after one of the latest Suzuki Jimny s but never actually did it whilst they were officially available in the UK. However, I recently got the chance to pick up a brand new import and decided to go for it.The car is exactly as it left the factory but I did get the dealer to upgrade the tyres for me as I d read some pretty poor (snow) reviews about the Dunlop Grand Trek tyres that
