2018 스바루 임프레자에서 시동 시 연기 발생. 특히 차량이 우측(조수석) 방향으로 경사진 상태로 주차되었을 때 발생. 처음에는 2일 이상 주차 후에만 나타났으나 시간이 지남에 따라 1일 주차 후에도 발생하기 시작. 연기량이 점점 증가하는 추세.

I’m interested in buying either a Subaru Outback or an Audi A4 Avant (quattro 2.0 T) in the 2005-2009 range. Most of the cars I’ve seen available have between 70-100K miles and, between the two brands, the prices are pretty similar. Is a used Audi of that vintage (2005-2009) going to be significantly less reliable than a used Subaru? I know Audis are more expensive to fix when they do have problems. I park in a private lot. A tower has a concession to boot offending cars. He booted my pickup yesterday, the reason on the tag is ‘immobile’. Of course it was immobile: it was parked. All the other cars in the lot were immobile too. There is no rule against immobility. I suspect he meant inoperable, which there is a rule against. Of course my pickup is operable. Some product, same SKU, different copyright dates, same price. One says 10,000 miles, the newer one says 15,000 miles. The the more modern left package has a more minimalist design on the back with fewer words and less technical information, just like many modern websites. I bought some Michelin crossclimate2 tires today, went to the auto parts store for new wiper blades and the guy was in awe of the tires. He said they are great for the rims on my 2017 rav4, and they bubble on the bottom for more traction and a smoother ride. What warranty did you get. I said I do not know, but I am putting maybe 4k miles a year. I am not really worried about mileage as dry rot has been killing tires before mileage. He said I should have gone to Costco, better warranty, the shop I bought them from will rotate them every 5k miles for free, no road hazard.

Hi all, I’m fairly new to wrenching and I’m looking for feedback on whether my outdoor setup seems safe. I have a gravel driveway area in my backyard where I want to jack my car up and go underneath safely (i.e. pull a transmission, diff, etc). In my opinion, I’d say this patch of driveway is ‘very flat’, however it’s still not a perfectly poured concrete garage floor, and is also covered in small gravel. On which of the following types of calipers should air pressure not be used to remove caliper pistons? A. Single piston B. Dual piston. C. Four piston. D. None of the above. I believe the answer is D. None of the above. But was hoping someone on here could confirm. I do not see why the number of pistons would impact using air on the caliper. I know that if one piston is completley removed from the caliper, you won’t be able to use air to remove the other pistons, becuase the air will escape through the bore that had the piston that was removed. 풀 락(full lock) 또는 반대 방향으로 돌릴 때 한 번의 노킹음 발생, 락에 도달할 때와 다시 돌아올 때 각각 한 번씩 나타남. 가속 또는 제동 시에도 간헐적으로 같은 소리 발생. 전방 우측(앞오른쪽 휠 부근)에서 음향 발생. 최근 좌측 스프링 파손 이력 있고, 우측 스프링 상태는 정상으로 확인됨. 차량: 2001 Ford Focus

가속할 때 약간 왼쪽으로 쏠림. 천천히 악셀을 밟을 때는 덜하고, 악셀을 놓으면 정상으로 돌아옴. 다시 밟으면 정상

2004 혼다 CR-V, 약 140,000마일. 고속도로 속도(시속 60mph 이상)에서만 나타나는 심각한 진동 증상. 증상이 갑자기 발생했으며 일주일 전부터 간헐적으로 나타남. 최근에 타이로드 엔드, 볼 조인트, 쇼크를 교체했으므로 해당 부품은 제외. 진동의 강도가 약할 때부터 매우 심할 때까지 변함.

타이어 교환

2004 포드 포커스, 주행거리 104,000km. 프론트 우측 휠에서 지속적인 소음 발생, 클러치 페달을 밟으면 소음 사라짐. 시속 60km/h와 120-130km/h 구간에서 스티어링 휠 진동 발생(강약 반복). 프론트 타이어 마모 상태 양호하나 교체 필요로 보임.

스페어 타이어의 무게로 인한 연비 저하 및 트렁크 공간 낭비. 운전 경력 중 스페어 타이어를 사용한 적이 없음. 장거리 여행이나 오프로드 주행 시에만 안전성 필요.

정기점검

2003 혼다 어코드, 시동 시 낮은 음량의 이상한 '신음' 소리가 발생. 몇 번 시동을 시도하면 정상적으로 시작됨. 때로는 첫 시동에 성공하기도 하고, 신음 소리 중간에 시작되기도 함. 계기판 경고등은 정상적으로 표시됨.

타이어 교환

2003 Honda Civic 4도어 LX에 새 겨울 타이어 장착 후 스티어링이 약해짐. 차선 변경 시 이전에는 스티어링 휠을 약 3인치만 돌렸으나 이제는 약 1/4바퀴(약 2배) 돌려야 함. 스티어링 풀림 현상, 진동 없음.

Why are all the new cars going for skinny tires? They are less safe (more likely to come off the rim) and cause a harsh ride. Is this a fashion thing, like short skirts, that we can hope will go away?
