증상
2000 혼다 시빅에서 냉각수에 녹이 많이 발생함. 워터펌프 수리 후 발생.
처리 내용
냉각계통의 녹을 제거하는 두 가지 방법이 있음: 1) 식초 플러시: 증류수와 식초를 50:50으로 섞은 용액을 1-2일간 엔진에서 순환시킴. 2) 시트러스 플러시 (Mercedes Benz 방식): - 증류수 5리터에 구연산 2.2파운드를 섞어 10% 용액 준비 - 냉각계통의 모든 냉각수를 배출 후 플러시 - 구연산 용액으로 재충전 후 2500rpm에서 15분간 엔진 운전 - 모든 용액을 배출하고 재플러시하여 제거 - 새 냉각수로 재충전하고 누수 확인 구연산 용액 방식을 권장함.

The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. I booked in for a minor service, to have the water pump, thermostat and coolant changed and the oil pressure relief valve changed to a later spec one. Paul suggested that I get a new oil filter canister as they need changing every few changes and I didnt know when it was last changed. I can help thinking Porsche parts might be a bit cheaper if they didnt give wrap them!
