I had my first accident two days ago (minimal injuries so don't worry about that), and it's got me thinking about a lot of different aspects to driving and cars, such as braking. Had my braking been even slightly less effective, it would have been a very different story. This lead me to do research on cars with good 60 mph - 0 mph distances, but in doing so someone claimed that it was effectively just a tire comparison. So is this true? Assuming brake pads which are able to lock up the tires and ABS, and ignoring downforce, is it all just down to the tires? To specify the scenario, let's say i

메인 주 극저온 환경에서 자동차가 시동이 걸리지 않음. 연료가 1/4 탱크 수준이었고, 드라이 가스(연료 건조제) 1/2병을 추가하려다가 빠르게 흘러나와서 결국 1/4 탱크에 거의 전량을 넣음. 드라이 가스 사용설명서는 최소 1/2 탱크 이상에 전량을 넣도록 권장함.

엔진의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 성능 캠샤프트(performance cams)를 설치했을 때 어떤 원리로 출력이 증가하는지 궁금함

브레이크 패드 교환

2005년식 도요타 코롤라 브레이크에서 고음의 삐걱거리는 소리 발생. 빗오거나 습할 때 심해짐. 페달을 특정 압력 범위에서만 누를 때만 발생(약하게 누르거나 강하게 누르면 멈춤). 주행 중에는 점차 사라졌다가 주차 후 다시 발생. 패드는 반 이상 남아있음.

1991 마즈다 미아타(캐나다 사양)의 승객석 주간주행등(DRL)이 작동하지 않음. 운전석은 정상 작동(14V 공급). 멀티미터 측정 결과 승객석 전구에 전류 미공급. 우회전 신호, 헤드라이트 켤 때, 주간주행등 켤 때는 모두 정상 작동. 전구 자체와 배선은 정상 상태로 추정.

새 타이어 장착 후 밸런싱을 2회 확인했고, 로어 볼 조인트를 교체한 후 얼라인먼트를 했는데도 진동이 심함. 스티어링에 유격이 없고 타이로드 불량 시 나타나는 클릭음이 없음. 바운싱이 없어도 스트럿이 문제일 수 있는지 궁금함.

1995 Acura Legend 뒷 상단 컨트롤 암(승객측) 교체 중 서브프레임의 너트를 고정하는 볼트를 제거하려다가 과도한 토크로 인해 볼트가 부러짐. 용접된 너트가 서브프레임 내부에서 파손되어 볼트가 자유회전하면서 고착됨. 볼트가 약간 빠져나왔지만 계속 걸려있음.

엔진/오ル터네이터가 작동 중이고 배터리 전압이 14V일 때, 에어컨, 라디오, 헤드라이트, 시트 히터, 시거렛 라이터를 켜면 전압이 얼마나 떨어질 것으로 예상되는가? 허용 가능한 최대 전압 강하는 얼마인가?

쉐보레 실버라도

2004년식 · 1세대 (1999-2006) · 5.3 LS

엔진오일 교환

2004 쉐보레 실버라도에서 주유 시 약 3달러 정도만 들어간 후 멈춤. 다시 누르면 휘발유가 역분사됨.

2003 오펠 아질라의 전동 미러가 작동하지 않음. 복구 기사가 몇 개의 퓨즈를 교체한 후 운전은 정상이었으나, 현재 전동 미러와 라디오가 모두 작동하지 않음. 퓨즈 슬롯에 퓨즈가 없고 커넥터도 없는 상태. 서비스 정보와 매뉴얼의 배선도에 따르면 이 슬롯에 15A 퓨즈가 있어야 하며, 이 퓨즈는 라디오와 전동 미러에 전원을 공급함.
