Due to reaching the the 10,000 post mark Vol 2 has been started !!Been obsessing the forum posts this morning !!

Paperwork, bills, receipts, some more paperwork, spec sheets, sales literature... depending on what you consider 'history' pertaining to your car it's easy to watch a mountain of paper stack up. I certainly have, but I know some of you have sprawling mountains of paperwork relating to your fleet. How do you store it? I know of online services like Patina but I'm thinking more about the actual paperwork than a digital paper trail.Up until now I've been using two ring binders - one for each car - to file their histories away, but I am curious if there's a better way. What do you do?

We've had twins, to go with our 4 year old, and for various reasons have had to sell my beloved Discovery 4 (which would have otherwise been the perfect family car). We are also selling my wife's C class (too small) . We have, in their place, bought a 2013 VW Touran. Having previously owned two of these wonderful cars and seen the prices rise this one seems a relatively good price with all the work done. Not my choice with the wood trim and they look so much better with CSL alloys in my opinion but very nice indeed!

I notice quite a few in LCV's (Customs/Transporters) driving whilst holding an actual cup. Is this a new thing? To have an actual brew cup in hand whilst driving? Normally on the morning commute, so early doors.

지오 메트로가 2700마일 도로여행 중 간헐적으로 정지. 처음 800마일 후 언덕을 올라갈 때 75mph에서 55mph로 떨어졌다가 다시 시동. 이후 여러 언덕에서 반복되다가 정상화됨. 귀로에서 첫 번째 언덕에서 다시 발생, 700마일 후 작은 언덕의 정지신호에서 발생. 집에서 60마일 떨어진 지점에서 6마일마다 정지 시작. 4기통 모터.

앞바퀴 굴림 자동차에서 리어 타이어가 브레이킹에만 사용되는데, 브레이킹 시 타이어 트레드 효율을 높이기 위해 타이어를 역방향으로 장착하는 것이 좋은가? 눈길 주행 시 접지력이 향상될 수 있지만 연비가 증가할 수 있다.

엔진을 끄고 배터리에서 직접 장치(컴프레서 등)를 구동할 때의 장단점이 궁금함

엔진 냉간 시동 후 몇 순간 동안 유휴 RPM이 약간 높음. 6개월 이상 방치된 차량은 시동 후 RPM이 훨씬 높으며 정상 RPM에 도달하는 데 수 분이 소요되고, 안정화되는 동안 RPM이 올랐다 내렸다를 반복함.

LS1 엔진 밸브 커버 제거 후 밸브트레인 내부 전체가 검은색으로 변색됨. 잔여물은 딱딱하고 비늘 같으며 기름기가 많지 않음. 일부 밸브 주변에 오일 웅덩이 있어 밸브 스템 씰 손상 예상.

1970 카마로의 상단 컨트롤 암에 잘못된 볼조인트를 장착함. 모터 없이 교체해야 하는데, 차량 프레임을 고정할 방법이 제한적임 (차고 바닥에 구멍을 뚫을 수 없음). 1969년형과 1970년 상반기형의 프레임 호환성 문제로 인해 1969년형 볼조인트(다른 부품번호)를 교체해야 함.

2002 현대 엘란트라에서 어제부터 가속이 정상적이지 않음. 액셀 페달이 거의 움직이지 않음. 이상한 소음 없음, 변속기는 정상적으로 작동함. 문제가 액셀러레이터와 직접 연관되어 있는 것으로 보임.
