Morning everyone, this is the thread for my new car, a 2015 Focus Titanium that I collect on the 24th. I asked a friend to run the details through Ford Etis and this was the result. Volvo makes safe cars which are not only the bare minimum in passing NCAP but offer real safety.For example crashing into a stopped lorry at 40mph I am sure there will be no intrusion into the Volvo cabin. Which other crossover will be the same? Sure they all will pass a standardised test but cruising into a lorry that is stopped or suddenly stops or a full sized SUV crashing into the crossover at 50mph which crossover will be closest to the Volvo in safety. I bought a registration and haven’t assigned it to my own car so the retention document is still in the previous owner’s name. Can I sell the registration on without having assigned it to my own car or do I have to first get the registration in my name before selling it? Ideally I’d like to avoid the £80 fee.

My daughter has just passed her test, first time. Very proud. And in a manual A learner policy on her car was a mere £200/yr, but now she's passed the best quotes are £800 with a black box or £1700 without (which is actually less than I was expecting).Does anyone have experience of how restrictive a black box is? Went to a small local show that I heard about on the grapevine, at a place called Path Head watermill, a beautiful setting a few miles from my place, but somewhere I'd never heard of or visited. It was a nice enough day, but the turnout was poor, mainly due to there being several other better advertised car events on that day. Still, as a venue for walking the dog and getting a coffee if nothing else, it was a nice discovery to find pretty much on my doorstep.The cars were generally in lovely nick, the X19 was immaculate.The MR2 was interesting to me, not just as a fellow owner, but also for
