This one's been on the back burner for nearly 20 years.. and now I've got a place with a garage, I can unveil this projectOriginally I had a GTE coupe but this proved a bit too rotten for my skills and life got in the way (aka university / finding a stable job) so that one got sold so it was out of my friend's driveway and saved. He then gave me this coupe for the price of sorting out the V5 (pink slip for those in the US) which totaled a measly £35.. the car has been valued at a fair bit more, given It's a none sunroof coupe. Power plant wise, originally was going to be a 2.0 8v SEH family 2

"Here is our new hot hatch..........that looks like a small SUV and has an electric motor"As much as i try - these EV's don't do it for me.Had a look at some driving videos of the Corsa GSE the other day and there just isn't that much hot hatchiness in there...Point and shoot and mash the accelerator. Although you could say the same thing about some of these modern ICE hyper hatches with 4WD and auto boxes too...

I've been out of the (used) car game for a few years and I'm back in the market now. I have one non-negotiable rule: no service history, no interest. Full stop.I have never bought a used car without history. Apart from that one time on my first car that had fake history, but that's a different story and it didn't end well, perhaps that's why I have been fastidious ever since. Reliability is directly tied to maintenance. I'm not buying an older, higher-mileage car blind. 6.0 LQ4 엔진 블록(쉐보레 서버반 등에 사용된 철제 블록 LS2) 구입 후 엔진 빌드 시작. 포지드 피스톤, 링 갭 설정, ARP 볼트 전체 적용하여 터보차징 대비 조립. 머신샵에서 블록, 헤드, 크랭크 가공 완료 후 엔진 조립 진행 중

BMW 3시리즈 쿠페(E92)에 OBD2 튜닝박스 설치. RB1 오디세이에도 동일 제품 사용했음. 이 튜닝박스는 찬반이 갈리는데, 순수 가짜 제품이라는 주장도 있고 효과가 있다는 주장도 있어서 상당히 추상적인 아이템. 설치 후 연비 차이 확인을 여러 번 비교했을 때 설치 전후로 리터당 약 1~2km 이상의 차이 발생. 공연비 최적화로 인한 연비 개선 것으로 추정.

알파로메오 스텔비오(1세대) 외기온계 이상 - 디알러에서 여러 번 점검했으나 이상 없다고 판정되던 외기온계 오작동. 운전석 도어미러 하단부의 센서(NTC 써미스터)에서 외기온을 측정함.

오래된 누오바 500(TNJ 41G)에 126 엔진으로 교체했음에도 불구하고 시속 70마일을 넘기기 어려움. 성능 향상 정도가 궁금함.

대시 상판 제거 및 HVAC 컨트롤 작업 중. 현재 대시가 녹색이며, 검은색 대시로 교환 계약 추진 중. 히터 박스는 엔진 제거 전까지 분리 불가능한 상태.
