Shouldn't the starter relay be closed while a car is starting? Why does it open/close frequently when key is turned, making a repeated clicking sound? Does the relay behave this way only in the low battery case or it clicks always while a car is starting, but clicks are not audible due to the working starter noise?

So I had to cease driving in December 2024 for medical reasons. Since its classed as "historic" the insurance is only for named drivers, noone else is covered to drive it. So it has sat inside a garage all summer and all winter. The car in question is a 1973 Land Rover SWB series 3, and it has a Holden 202 cubic inch, 6 cylinder petrol engine. The vehicle has been converted to be dual fuel in the 90's and ran perfectly fine on LPG. The car has powerful new battery (1 week old). I drove the car and after 4 hours, the car will not start, not even click when you try to start the car? All the lights are ok and they are not dim. What could be the problem?

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy with the vehicle. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of the purchase, the mileage was 91,000, and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 170,000.

When I turn the key in to start all the lights on the dashboard go out completely and when I turn it back to the off position the dash lights back up. What could the problem be if the battery is okay?

This morning I tried to start my motorcycle but the kick-starter failed. It was idle for about a month but it was riding fine before that . My motorcycle doesn't have an electric starter function. The fuel tank has more than a liter of petrol, last I checked. And, the battery is 3 years old. Radiators for the automatic version of my car have a couple of extra coolant outlets at the bottom for cooling the auto transmission. I was sent the wrong radiator and I don't need these in my manual car. Would there be anything wrong with just connecting the two with a length of hose?

Hello everyone, About 6 months ago, my dad drove through a large mud puddle (not his brightest moment) and ever since then, the abs light has been turned on. while diagnosing the problem, about 50% of the time the pc claims it is the abs and the other 50% it claims its the fuse box or some sort of sensor near the hood i never heard about. the car has been dragged out of the mud in an unprofessional manner, maybe a few wires were disconnected by mistake. Hello, My 2000 Dodge Dakota with the 3.9l v6 engine overheated. For a few days I noticed when I started the truck it seemed to struggle with starting a little. When I cranked it…it kind of sputtered a little but then started as usual and was fine. I went on a 30-minute trip and noticed some steam and then the gauge went to hot. I got it towed back home. I work approx 30 minutes away from home. when i got home tonight, i noticed a hissing sound coming from under the hood and a thin smoke coming out of the front grill. the vehicle is a 2001 ford f-150 with 5.4L.
