재제조된 엔진을 구입했고 보증을 유지하려면 새로운 오일 쿨러를 구매해야 했습니다. 애프터마켓 오일 쿨러를 구매했는데 제대로 맞지 않습니다. 러버 링(O-ring)의 크기를 변경해서 맞는 것 같지만 두 번 터져서 오일이 분사되었습니다.

배터리 교환

아침에 시동이 바로 걸리지 않고 키를 약 10초간 눌러야 시동이 걸림. 30분 주행 후 15분 방치했다가 다시 시동 시 정상 시동 시간보다 길게 키를 눌러야 함. 가을 첫 추운 밤이었음. 이후 정상적으로 시동되다가 오늘 오후에 완전히 시동이 안 됨. 현재 키를 돌렸을 때 계속 클릭음만 발생. 배터리는 정상인 것 같음 (모든 전자장치 정상 작동). 배터리 케이블 재결합 및 스타터 태핑 시도했으나 증상 지속.

배터리 교환

2012 현대 i20 1.4 자동변속기에서 간헐적으로 시동 시 계기판 조명과 센터 인포메이션 디스플레이가 켜지지 않는 증상 발생. 키를 더 돌려도 시동이 걸리지 않으며, 보통 3번째 시도에서 정상 시동됨. 시동이 걸린 후에는 센터 인포메이션 디스플레이(날짜, 시간, 여행 컴퓨터)와 라디오가 리셋되며, 여행 거리가 0으로 초기화되고 시간이 2000년 01:00 AM으로 리셋됨. 배터리 관련 문제로 의심됨.

2014 포드, 주행 중 에어컨이 몇 분 후 꺼졌다 켜졌다를 반복. 꺼지면 2-3분간 따뜻한 공기 분출. 공회전 중에는 에어컨이 정상 작동. 에어컨 작동 시 자동변속기가 2500-3000rpm에서 변속되지만, 에어컨 오프 시 1800-2000rpm에서 변속. Visteon VS16 컴프레서 사용.

엔진오일 교환

OBD에서 1997 Ford Mercury(Tracer) 저연료압 코드 표시. 연료펌프를 교체해야 하는지, 펌프 전체를 교체해야 하는지 아니면 모터 유닛만 교체해도 되는지 확인 필요. 저연료압을 유발할 수 있는 다른 원인 파악 필요.

I had a Dame Edna with this engine, picked it up for buttons and put about 40,000 on it and it only needed a tyre, an idler pulley, an ABS ring and a coolant return pipe. Absolutely fantastic cars - great power, good economy and I could do everything myself on the drive. Will always have a soft spot for them. Already had the uprated swirl flap bar too. Enjoy!

연료 탱크 내 슬로싱(sloshing)이 발생하면 연료 분사 시스템에 방해가 되는 연료 흐름 중단이 발생할 수 있습니다. 연료가 탱크의 한쪽으로 모이면 연료 펌프가 공기를 빨아들이게 되어 차량이 스톨될 수 있습니다. 또한 슬로싱으로 인해 연료 게이지가 계속 움직이는 현상이 발생합니다.

엔진오일 교환

2011 포드 몬데오 2.3L에서 연료 펌프가 18개월 동안 3회 고장. 증상은 항상 동일 - 차량 정상 주행 후 시동을 끈 후 다시 시작하려 할 때 연료가 공급되지 않음. 연료 탱크는 세척했고 특이사항 없음, 충분한 연료량 유지, 91 옥탄가 휘발유만 사용.

겨울 보관 후 RV 시동 시 안전성 우려 - 일반 휘발유에 Sta-bil 첨가제를 사용했으나 프리미엄 휘발유 사용 여부 불확실함. 매뉴얼은 고품질 연료 사용을 명시하고 있으나 옥탄가 등급은 미명시. 장기 보관 중 연료 분리 현상(phase separation)으로 인한 엔진 손상 우려

에어컨이 불안정하게 작동하고, 에어컨 가동 중 엔진 온도가 함께 올라감. 시동 후 약 2분까지는 에어컨이 냉각되고 엔진 온도 정상이나, 이후 에어컨이 상온 바람을 불기 시작하면서 동시에 엔진 온도계가 최고조까지 상승. 약 1분 동안 최고 온도 유지 후 약 5분에 걸쳐 점진적으로 정상 온도로 감소. 온도가 중간 정도로 안정화되면 에어컨이 다시 냉각되고 이후 주행 중에는 정상 작동함.

Short journeys (as we all know) are a death sentence for EGR valves and DPF, but particularly on these. My wife sold hers to her BiL who used it for 18 months going to and from work two miles away. He never serviced it once in all that time. When I stole bought it back from him, the first thing it needed was an EGR valve because it was coked solid. Now it's getting regular long journeys it's singing along.

These things look great. If you can get one where someone has already spunked £20k on the paint, then happy days.Just not keen on the laptop stuck to the dashboard.

(Audi, kindly note.)And if we must have a screen for a dash, then give us this Caddy’s trad shape and curves, not a grim rectangular LCD plank. (BMW, Ford, et al, kindly note.)A CT5-V Blackwing with AWD and the 10-speed autobox would be a useful tool. Need the equivalent of GT-R Midnight Purple as a paint option, mind.

Crazy stuff (to me, and others probably) again.I hear what you say about the breaking of cars less in demand. I've been looking for Birds Eye Maple trim for the C55 for a year without luck. I found a car recently on eBay which was for sale for £650 without an MOT - the seller wouldn't sell me the trim. He then sold the car to a breaker and gave me his number. The photos I was sent after asking the breajer for the trim showed the windows smashed, the trim covered in glads, and the house open to the elements!
