배터리 교환

폭스바겐 투란의 퓨즈박스를 개조하여 보조 12V 전원 콘센트가 점화 없이도 항상 전원을 공급하도록 설정. 항상 켜져있는 레일(퓨즈박스 하단)에서 회로차단기 퓨즈가 삽입된 피기백 퓨즈 홀더 2개를 연결하여 전원 콘센트 퓨즈 위치(상단 레일, 점화 시에만 작동)로 연결. 이를 통해 휴대폰 및 파워뱅크를 엔진 시동 또는 점화 없이 충전 가능하며 배터리 방전 방지.

I've always love BMWs, my uncle had an E36 318i Touring when I was a kid and I loved it, that was where my obsession with them began. Over the years I've liked pretty much every BMW made, some took a few years for me to grow to like but even the modern ones still get my appreciation. Out of all those cars though, there were 2 that really stood out to me as special cars, the E60 M5 and the E90 M3. In my opinion a golden era of BMW design and build quality. These two in particular attracted me because of their (perhaps vague) links to the BMW F1 involvement at the time, the nerd in me loved it.

2014 포드 포커스 1.6TDCI - 에어컨이 냉풍을 내보내지 않음. 냉매 충전 상태 양호, 누수 없음(garage 검사 완료). 컴프레서 클러치가 작동하지 않음. 릴레이와 퓨즈 정상. 릴레이 단자를 연결해도 클러치 미작동. 클러치 전기 커넥터 제거 후 측정 결과 10.4V 공급됨(릴레이 위치에서도 동일). 엔진 정지 시 배터리 전압 12.6V.

Hi all. Like a lot of car nuts, I feel compelled to write about my car journey on here. 차량이 방치되어 있었음. 새 배터리를 장착하니 시동이 걸리고 달린다. 점화를 끄면 대시 조명, 라디오, 전원 포트가 계속 켜져 있고 꺼지지 않음. 점화 스위치를 테스트하던 중 열쇠가 걸려서 새로운 것으로 교체함. 퓨즈를 확인하려다가 중단됨.

You mentioned a 156GTA in your first post....That was one of my 'Halo Cars' ...when I had my 156s...But...I am sure you can have more fun with the Fiat if you can tune it up to those huge power outputs mentioned above... I had no idea that 400BHP plus was possible ....!!

엔진오일 교환

외부 오일 쿨러를 OEM 위치보다 낮게 엔진베이 하단에 설치할 때의 잠재적 문제점: 긴 오일 쿨러 라인으로 인한 유압 저하 우려, 낮은 위치로 인한 오일 펌프의 부하 증가, 오일 교환 시 쿨러 내 오일이 완전히 배출되지 않는 문제

2015 Toyota Highlander의 오일팬 드레인 플러그 근처에서 신선한 오일이 바닥에 떨어지고 있음. 지난 한 달 이상 전에 마지막 오일 교환(Jiffy Lube)을 했으며 디스틱 확인 시 오일 레벨은 풀(full) 상태. 잭업 후 검사 시 드레인 플러그 주변에 밝은 빨간색의 단단하고 취성 있는 물질, 녹색/노란색 표식이 발견됨. 일부 빨간 물질이 플러그와 팬 모두에 부착되어 있음. 플러그는 헐거운 상태로 조여져 있음(느슨한 편).

OBD-II에서 연료 소비량, 연료 효율 등 연료 관련 정보를 얻고 싶음. 많은 차량이 연료 관련 PID를 지원하지 않아서 차량 속도, RPM, TPS 등 기본 OBD-II 파라미터로부터 이 값들을 계산하고 싶음. 참고한 논문의 공식이 너무 단순하고 모든 차에 적용되지 않음.

르노 클리오 5 SCE 65 휘발유 엔진에 적합한 모터오일 종류 확인 필요. 5W30이 맞는지 불확실함. 유지보수 및 보증 시트: 규격 RN 17, 엔진오일 용량 3.40L, 외부 온도에 따른 사용 조건 -15°C ~ -20°C ~ -25°C에서 5W30, -30°C에서 0W40, 제조사(르노)는 Castrol 오일 권장

AC 시스템에서 누수가 발생했으며(수년간 방치), 알루미늄 파이프 누수 부위의 변색 여부를 육안으로 확인할 수 있는지 궁금함. 현재 시스템이 완전히 비어있는 상태이고, 스니퍼로 검사하기 어려운 상황. 회수 탱크가 없어 냉매 주입 후 시스템 퍼지가 불가능.

엔진오일 교환

시동을 걸려고 해도 아무 소리가 없습니다. 새 스타터를 설치했어도 작동하지 않습니다. 스타터 와이어에 푸시 버튼을 연결했을 때는 엔진이 회전하지만 시동이 걸리지 않습니다. 연료가 공급되지 않는 것 같습니다. 도난 방지 경고등(theft light)이 깜박이고 있습니다.

에어컨 가스 충전

2007 Honda Accord EX V6의 에어컨 컴프레서와 리시버 드라이어 교체를 DIY로 진행. Firestone에서 냉매 회수 후 새 컴프레서에 들어갈 컴프레서 오일의 적정량에 대해 문의함. 매장 직원이 새 컴프레서에 들어있는 오일량을 자동 충전 기계가 감지하고 냉매와 함께 자동으로 적정량을 주입한다고 설명함.

배터리 교환

배터리에서 직접 배선을 O2 센서(?) 배선 커넥터에 닿혔을 때 스파크가 발생. 이후 엔진이 크랭크는 되지만 시동이 걸리지 않음. 점화 코일과 코일 배선, O2 센서를 교체했으나 문제 지속.

휠 사이즈 불일치 발견 - 3개는 260mm, 1개는 219mm (E90 생산 중기에 사이즈 변경됨). 워셔펌프 기능 저하.

Nobody harmed other than ego. Sat on a main road waiting for a car to turn right, car goes, whoosh motorbike decides he wants to overtake/merge with me on my right side just as the car in front is pulling over and get in front of me. I use horn, he decides to stop right in the middle of the main road in front of me and call me every word under the sun.Is this sort of driving deemed acceptable in the Highway Code or was I right to be aggrieved? You can overtake anyone driving at any speed in a 30...as long as you're not going over 30.The question is whether you can do it in a reasonable amount of time and can do it safely. It all depends on the situation.
