Over 3 months into M3 ownership now, and I'm pleased to report that it's been a very happy 3 months with the exception of the fuel bill being more horrendous than expected thanks to a certain President's actions in the Middle East. A few weeks ago it went into Redish Motorsport for new fuel injectors and an NRW Inline Fuel Filter. Not a cheap job, but every time I put my foot down the mental image of an injector sticking open and writing off the engine weighed on my mind, and unless my circumstances dramatically change I plan on owning this car for a long while so it seemed worth the money. I’m sure someone will come along and say they’d happily trade their Porsche Taycan or GT3 for this…But let’s be honest….. no one is buying/leasing/salary exchanging this for £105k

정비소에서 Mobil Super 3000 5W-40 엔진오일을 교환했는데, 차량 매뉴얼에서 Multi Air 시스템은 ACEA C3 이하 등급 또는 5W-40 이외의 SAE 등급 오일 사용 시 엔진 손상 가능성이 있다고 명시되어 있음. 사용된 오일은 ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4 API SN/SM AAE (STO 003) Group B6만 충족하며 ACEA C 등급 표기 없음.

오래된 1997년형 포드 피에스타(1.25L 1242cc 엔진, 신차 기준 74hp)의 출력이 현저히 감소함. 현재 약 40hp 정도로 추정되며, 신차 때의 상당한 출력이 손실된 상태. 구형 차량에서 출력이 시간이 지남에 따라 점진적으로 감소하는 이유에 대한 문의.
