증상
2006 혼다 시빅 하이브리드. 1년 전부터 며칠간 운행하지 않으면 시동 문제 발생 (휴가 복귀 시, 3일 주말 후). 정상적으로는 거의 즉시 시동이 걸리나, 문제 시 스타터가 1-2초 걸린 후 엔진 시동되며 초기에 백파이어처럼 들림. 시간이 지나면서 증상 악화 - 초기에는 수일 필요했으나 현재는 약 12시간 경과 후 발생. 또한 정차 시 (신호 대기 중) 브레이크 페달을 밟고 있을 때 엔진 자동 정지 및 페달 해제 시 자동 재시동되어야 하는데, 현재는 그대로 공회전 유지됨.
처리 내용
배터리 또는 충전 시스템 상태 악화, 특히 배터리 용량 저하로 추정. 배터리는 제조 후 판매 전 오랫동안 보관되었을 수 있음. 하이브리드 시스템의 Start/Stop 기능은 배터리 용량이 특정 임계값에 도달해야 작동하도록 설계되어 있으며, 이 값은 차량 모델별로 상이함. 배터리 교체 후 Start/Stop이 작동하지 않으면 해당 시스템에 부적합한 배터리일 수 있으므로 BEM 코드 확인 필요. 배터리 교체 및 충전 시스템 점검 권장.

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car.
