Over 3 months into M3 ownership now, and I'm pleased to report that it's been a very happy 3 months with the exception of the fuel bill being more horrendous than expected thanks to a certain President's actions in the Middle East. A few weeks ago it went into Redish Motorsport for new fuel injectors and an NRW Inline Fuel Filter. Not a cheap job, but every time I put my foot down the mental image of an injector sticking open and writing off the engine weighed on my mind, and unless my circumstances dramatically change I plan on owning this car for a long while so it seemed worth the money. I'll pass on this one, but at least it's got the 3.0 and not the 2.0.

With the upcoming Continental trip certain things are needed. A warning triangle being one of those things…No bother I say to SWMBO there’s one fitted in every Audi….Of course the car made me out to be a liarA quick search on eBay and I found a new old stock listed for £20 delivered That’s better…..In other news I finally finished the side step after all the pieces required came in the post It’s like it was never there, so that’s another job jobbed!!!

Seems like a good time to make a thread on this seeing as I've owned it over 3 weeks and have already managed to put something like 1300 miles on it- despite my justification for buying a 4.0 V8 being that my personal mileage was likely to decrease... After 4 very happy and enjoyable years with an E82 125i Coupe I was starting to properly get the bug to move on to something else. I'd had a great time with that car but had got everything I wanted out of owning it (including a very fun trip over to the Nurburgring), and was struggling to see the value for money in putting any more money into it

In the late 2000s I was at a car show, and one of the stands I visited had a very performance focused car. Not quite a track toy, but definitely not a comfy cruiser.It was enclosed, but it had something more akin to a cockpit than a cabin. The passenger seat was behind, but to the side of the driver's seat. So a sort of staggered tandem arrangement. It was a low volume manufacturer, and they were encouraging people to come and try the car at their HQ (I can't remember which country). A missed opportunity, but there was no way I'd have been able to buy it so I wasn't going to waste their time.I

오일 컨트롤 링이 심하게 마모되어 많은 양의 오일을 소모하고 있는데, 압축 링은 아직 양호한 상태일 수 있는가? 아니면 보통 함께 마모되어 오일 소모와 저 실린더 압력이 함께 나타나는가?

I’m currently laid up at home after an op and have just gone through this thread from start to finish. What a fantastic collection of cars and the way you approach the running and upkeep of them makes for fascinating reading. I also have a particular soft spot for English bull terriers so any shot of Frank is a highlight too...
