GPS 유닛이 소손됨. 대여 트럭의 12V 시거렛 라이터 소켓이 장착 구멍에서 흔들리고 움직일 수 있는 상태였음. 대시보드 전압 표시에는 이상이 없었음. GPS가 전원 손실 증상을 보이지 않음.

얼터네이터 교환

2003 마즈다 트리뷰트 V6 모델에서 배터리 경고등이 간헐적으로 켜지거나 깜박임. 배터리와 올터네이터를 자동부품점에서 검사했을 때 정상으로 나옴. 멀티미터로 측정해도 정상. 어제 드라이브 스루에서 스테레오와 에어컨을 켠 상태로 오래 기다리다가 스테레오가 꺼지고 차량 전력이 약해지는 증상 발생.

2015 알티마에 Eagle High 250amp H.O. 올터네이터 설치 직후 배터리 경고등 점등. OBD-II 스캐너 판독값: CPU 전압 15.6V (엔진 가동 중). 플루크 DMM으로 올터네이터 측정: 15.6V 충전 중. 일자리 온도 환경(화씨 한 자리). 3개 배터리 중 가장 오래된 배터리 제거해도 충전 문제 지속.

2004 타호가 시동 후 불안정하게 작동하며 끊어질 듯한 증상(미싱, 글러깅)을 보임. 최근 정비소에서 작업 후 증상 발생. 스파크 플러그 교체 전에는 정상 작동했음.

2010 골프 배터리 상태 확인. 배터리 나이 미상. 겨울 대비 불안감. 주행 전 12-12.15V, 시동은 -5°C에서도 정상. 40분 주행 후 12.7-12.75V. 며칠 방치 후 전압 저하 우려.

방향성 타이어(directional tire)가 비방향성 타이어보다 더 자주 로테이션이 필요하다는 주장 - 5,000마일마다 로테이션 필요하며, 방향성 타이어는 앞뒤로만 움직이므로 좌우 교환이 불가능하여 고르지 못한 마모가 발생한다는 의견

브레이크 패드 교환

2월에 혼다 딜러에서 MOT 중 리어 브레이크패드 교체 후 열과 타는 냄새 발생. 최근 Kwikfit에서 프론트 타이어 점검 시 리어 캘리퍼가 seized 상태이고 브레이크 더스트가 많다고 지적. 혼다 딜러가 패드 장착 시 캘리퍼를 제대로 풀어주지 않았을 가능성 있음.

교통 체증이 심한 오염된 지역에서 운전할 때 두통이 발생하며, 차량 외부의 오존(O3) 및 질소산화물(NOx)과 같은 유해 가스에 노출되는 것을 줄이기 원함. 일반적인 입자/꽃가루 필터 외에 추가적인 공기 정화 장치가 필요한지 궁금함.

어제 연석에 스치면서 휠캡이 약간 손상됐고, 타이어 사이드월에 작은 흠집이 생겼습니다. 손톱이 겨우 들어갈 정도로 얕은 정도입니다. 사이드월 손상의 심각성에 대해 의견을 듣고 싶습니다.

제동 시 매우 큰 소음 발생. 좌측 휠 내측 브레이크 패드 완전 소실, 디스크와 금속 접촉 중. 디스크 표면에 금속 가루(swarf) 다량 발생. 좌측 휠 외측: 패드 3/4 남음, 디스크 정상. 우측 휠 내측: 패드 1/4 남음, 디스크 정상. 우측 휠 외측: 패드 3/4 남음, 디스크 정상. 좌측 내측 패드만 빠르게 마모된 원인 불명.

My other half's car for the last 5 years has been a Mercedes ML350cdi. To it's credit it's was one of the most comfortable cars we've owned. Incredibly practical for a family of five but it was becoming costly. Last year we spent £1k on incidental repairs not including servicing etc. This year the A/C pump packed up but it also developed a timing chain rattle on cold.
