Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on a specific shifting issue with my 2007 Toyota Auris 1.4 D4D (Manual). I cannot shift from 4th gear into 3rd gear while the car is moving. It feels like hitting a physical wall, no grinding or noise, just a total lockout. Upshifting is fine 2nd to 3rd gear works perfectly. Also others gears no problem at all. From 1st to 5th to reverse. Last May I took my 2018 Camry in due to "low braking Power" light coming on. Toyota informed me that it was part of a recall and they did not know how long it would take. It was over a month and they fixed the problem. Now a year later, the same problem is taking place. Again, "low braking power" signal is coming on.

Hi all, These are the issues of a Maserati 1990 (Quattroporte) 422, 2000 SL.6 cylinders, fule injection.The car lives in Greece, and is in pristine condition. 1) The rpms go up when the engine is idle (no gear?) e.g when you stop at a light. Apparently this is an unexpected behavior. Could you give me a list of possible reasons? 2)When we start the car and/or go from 1st to 2nd gear, the engine doesn’t “fire” right away. Brand new issue in my 2016 sierra Z71. After I am stopped at a red light, the tachometer will rev up to near red with the slightest tap of the accelerator with no movement. Shifting into neutral will have the RPM behaving and sounding normal. I will not have any forward gears or reverse. Turning the truck of, and restarting will have the truck back to normal for a time (as long as I don’t stop at any red lights).

I was driving down a dirt road about 30 mph when my vehicle wouldn’t come to a stop when braking. the master warning light popped up on my dash, next to the word ‘BRAKE’ in all red letters. on my dash also read ‘Low Braking Power. Good afternoon all. My car, a 1997 Toyota Corolla has developed a problem I’m hoping maybe someone can help me figure out. Lately I’ve had a plethora of work done to the car. I’ve had the gas tank, fuel pump, all four struts, main oil seal, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, transmission fluid/filter, motor oil/filter etc, all replaced. I found out today I need to do the brakes on my f150. I went amd got pads and rotors before the ford dealer closed. But when I started i realized I should probably replace the calipers too. So I have a question, should l wait until Monday and get motorcraft from the dealer or go pick up some carquest premium ones from advance auto? I can live without the truck for a few days but id like to finish it up too. Im guessing motorcraft is reman like the carquest. What do you all think?

On 9/6/24 I pulled up to the gas pump and couldn’t stop. My brake light and warning light came on. I called Toyota and one of their service team members said it was covered because it was part of a repair kit that was completed on 9/2023. They then said that they did a recall repair at that time which involved the brake vacuum pump. I was not told this at the time. Now they say that this has failed and they refuse to fix it. I just hand my 1995 Jeep Grande Cherokee 4.0L straight 6 automatic in for tune-up (rotor, cap, wires, plugs, filters oil etc) and trans fluid service at special jeep repair shop. Also had the motor mounts and front suspension arms with bushing replaced four days after the tune up and trans service. Now after the tune-up and trans service was complete and prior to replacing the motor mounts I immediately notice more pronounced vibration in the steering wheel when stopped at a light. Hello everyone, Civic 8th gen Sedan 1.8 6MT (European), at 80k miles i have a problem since I bought it 2-3 years ago. When you accelerate from low speed or from standstill position on low gears 1 and 2, the car stalls and (heavily) judders for 2 secs when you leave the clutch pedal then continues normal. After continued usage steering becomes stiff and turning becomes very difficult. This then possess a safety risk to not only the driver but other drivers.
