Volvo V70 D4 엔진 오일 레벨 체크 어려움 - 서비스용 디프스틱이 엔진 전면에 위치하여 접근이 어렵고, 매번 다른 레벨을 표시함. 컴퓨터를 통한 레벨 확인 시스템이 작동하지 않을 때가 있으며, 메뉴 네비게이션이 복잡함. 또한 Volvo 전자식 주차 브레이크(E-브레이크) 관련 문제 - 긴급 상황에서 보조 제동 장치로서의 역할 불충분. MINI와 Jaguar F-Pace도 유사한 문제 발생 - 디프스틱 없음, 전자식 주차 브레이크 제어 불가능. 특히 F-Pace 후륜 브레이크 패드 교체 시 전자식 캘리퍼 모터 리트랙션 불가 문제 발생.

Volvo V70 D4 오일 레벨: (1) 서비스용 디프스틱 사용 - 매번 일관된 결과를 위해 동일한 조건(엔진 정지 후 2-3분 경과, 수평 노면)에서 체크. (2) 컴퓨터 시스템 메뉴 경로 숙지 - 정보 센터 > 서비스 > 오일 레벨로 이동. F-Pace 브레이크 작업: 전자식 캘리퍼 리트랙션 불가 시, (1) 유지보수 모드 진입 시도 - 악셀 페달 2초 장시간 누르기. (2) 작동 불가 시 캘리퍼 모터에 직접 전원 공급 - 캘리퍼 모터 커넥터에서 전기 배선을 분리하고, 18V 배터리를 사용하여 음극과 양극을 직접 접촉하여 모터를 수동으로 회전시켜 피스톤 압축. 일반적으로 현대 자동차의 전자식 주차 브레이크 시스템은 보조 제동 기능에 제한이 있으므로 구조적 설계 한계로 인식할 필요 있음.
