There will be lots of haters out today but, frankly, if I could I would. A used one at half the price, might make a great buy. Might an electric Range Rover also be more reliable?

I'm confused over these blue and yellow MR2s .Are they the same car with a complete change of mods or is the reg number the only thing the same ?

PreambleIt seems I'm a confirmed fan of the four rings: this is my 3rd RS3, my 5th 8V and my 9th A/S/RS3/TTS overall. I run a 2013 custom VW T5.1 camper and a 2023 MK8 Golf alongside, meaning this is not the main car and that fact helped to justifying swapping from a more-sensible 2026 8Y S3 into this car recently. After I posted this:picture in the 'Show us your ovloV' thread, an old friend who is fanatical about both cars and guitars noted it had to be worth a readers cars thread. I have a thread on the owners club forum which has also turned into a project blog, and never got round to starting one here, so I'll copy as many of the salient points over to bring us up to date..This first Mammoth post will be buying the car, and getting it ready to daily drive...May 6th, 2023:The last one of these I had was back in 2007, when you could buy them for £225 with a long MOT and 4 spare wheels in the back!Havin

Hi guys, thought worth putting a thread up, hopefully it is of some interest. The idea was to get back to circuit racing in something that wasn't a BMW and ideally Japanese, something that was rear wheel drive and didn't cost a fortune (initially). I love doing trackdays, racing etc but I also love the build and the story of getting there.TLM is Team Lizard Motorsport, we went on a similar journey with much success with Abbey Motorsport in about 2008 - 2017 ish and I am hoping to pick Mark's considerable brain again when it comes to this build.End goal, (maybe 2 years out) - is Endurance raci

I currently drive a P530 autobiography- most comfortable, most capable car I have ever owned. The BMW v8 suits it perfectly. We live in an area with harsh winters, unpaved potted roads and where 4x4 capability is needed. Very similar scenery to the one in the photos. I can’t think of anything less appropriate than an electric powertrain. Electric power goes down during heavy storms - how do we recharge ? Cold winter months means battery performance goes down. And the nearest charging station might be 100 km away. An electric car built for the rugged outdoors is a contradiction
