Gosh, I thought these were great back in the day, nice to see . I recall a boss of mine had a new red / burgundy one, and I was totally jealous!

I have owned 2 of these in my life time. Both 3 dr, both cloth seats. First one was red, owned it in about 1998/1998. Used it to commute daily (approx 100 miles) and I adored it. It had some tasty engine mods and was slightly lowered but apart from that it looked standard. The perfect all rounder for a single man. The second was in the early 00's. Williams blue. Only engine mods were a filter and exhaust. It was low, body kit, big wheels. Only reason I got rid of it was I changed to a job where I needed a newer car as it came with a car allowance. Swapped out for a MG ZS 180. Loved both the 19's and have always hankered after another but scared that the rose tinted glasses of time are playing too big a part in it. That said, I wonder if they would do me a good deal on my old Vectra GSI that's hidden away in the garage. In case you hadn't worked it out I have a thing for performance saloons! Never owned a 2 seater, always had bigger fun things. Even now in my, erm, older years I still shy away from them. Nothing against a sports car/2 seater, I just always preferred something I can have fun with and also use for mates/house moves/tip runs/dogs/kids etc etc. Currently daily is no different and carries that on.
