2010 시트로엥 C3 Picasso 1.4 가솔린 - 장시간 주행 후 라디에이터 팬이 매우 시끄러워짐. 이후 엔진 과열 경고가 시작 직후에 바로 표시되고 팬이 계속 고속 회전함. 전기 정비소에서 온도 센서가 240도를 표시하는 것으로 확인됨. 정비소에서는 경고 메시지가 사라져 교체하지 못함.

2003 미니 쿠퍼 S - 시동이 걸리기까지 여러 번 시도 필요. 키를 3단으로 돌려도 반응 없음. 재시동 시도하면 작동. 아침에는 약 20회 시도 필요했음. 3단에서 클릭음 없음. 임모빌라이저가 작동하여 시동을 차단하는 것처럼 보임. 배터리는 점검 완료(정상). 대시보드 경고등 정상 표시. 두 개의 키 모두 같은 증상 발생.

2013 Mercedes S550 에어 라이드 서스펜션에서 시동을 끄고 내릴 때 "쉬익" 소리가 나며 좌우 프론트 에어 라이드 시스템에서 공기가 빠지는 소리가 들림. 에어백과 펌프 교체 작업 이후 수 개월이 지나서 처음 발견됨.

To me FOTU is about the nostalgia of cars which used to be commonplace and are now rare - "don't see many of those any more". Cars which used to form the backdrop of daily life, but have now almost all been scrapped, leaving a handful of survivors to represent their fallen comrades. So I have recently acquired (for free) a circa 1973 Speedaire 20 gallon compressor with no history. After a short while of use the check valve failed and when I removed it I noticed it and the air manifold it was threaded into was all gunked up with oil. It actually wasn't that bad given the 40 years of age, but enough to destroy the plunger in the check valve and make things in there a bit messy. It is my understanding that the piston rings were letting some oil by, leading to the build up. I have since started cleaning out the gunk, ordered a new check valve, drained the oil, and removed the

속도계가 작동하지 않음. 기어박스 테일 샤프트의 VSS(Vehicle Speed Sensor)를 교체했으나 증상 변화 없음. 4L60E 변속기 내부에 속도계에 영향을 미치는 다른 센서가 있는지 확인 필요. 휠 스피드 센서가 속도계에 영향을 미치는지 의문. 체크 엔진 경고등 없음. 변속기가 뜨거워질 가능성 있음. 엔진이 뜨거울 때 스타터가 끌리는 증상 발생(스타터 교체 필요성 검토 중).

배터리 교환

2004 Subaru Forester 배터리가 휠 얼라인먼트 후 방전됨. 차량이 미리 약한 배터리 신호를 보이지 않았으나, 정렬 후 시동을 걸려고 할 때 배터리가 방전되어 있었음. 귀가 중에 자체 충전되어 정상 시동됨. 정지 상태에서 배터리 전압 12V로 측정됨.

재건축한 엔진(스코다 에스텔/120 '72, RWD, 후방 장착 엔진) 시동 시 시동이 걸리지만 어려움. 다량의 흰색 또는 연한 회색 연기 발생. 첫 번째 크랭크(냉각수 없이)에서 워터펌프와 서모스탯 케이싱에서 미세한 연기 발생(페인트, 장착유 등 소소됨). 두 번째 크랭크에서 출수 호스를 양동이에 넣었을 때 기포 없음(압축이 냉각 시스템으로 유입되지 않음 추정). 다량의 연기 지속.

215/65R16 겨울 타이어와 림이 있는데, 2007 폰티악 몬타나(현재 225/60R17 장착)에 사용해도 되는지 궁금함. 65R17과 60R17 수치가 비슷해 보이고, 215 vs 225 차이가 문제가 될지 확인 필요

신차 구입 후 속도 범프를 넘을 때(정면 또는 각도로) 좌측 프론트 서스펜션에서 '딸깍' 소리가 나며, 이 충격이 스티어링 휠을 통해 전달됨. 주행 거리 100마일 미만의 신차 상태.

더블 위시본 대신 다른 구조를 사용한 이유가 궁금함. 과거에 이런 구조를 사용했고 나중에 중단한 이유와 더블 위시본과 비교했을 때의 장단점이 무엇인지 묻고 있음.

2007 코발트, 전동 파워 스티어링, 주행거리 50,000km. 눈/진흙/염분 지역에서 운행. 차량 하단부 연료 라인에서 (플라스틱) 마운팅 브래킷 근처에 부식 발생. 시간이 지나면서 누유 발생 가능성 있음.
