12V 배터리 교체 후에도 해치백 도어가 열리지 않음. 수 마일 주행 후 전력 손실 발생. 빨간색 경고삼각형 표시 켜짐. HV 배터리 팬 작동. 에너지 라이트 디스플레이가 녹색에서 빨간색으로 변경되고 고장난 자동차 아이콘 표시됨. NAPA에서 구입한 새 배터리인데도 증상이 지속됨.

배터리 교환

2011 마즈다 6 3.7L V6 푸시 스타트 차량이 특히 밤새 또는 몇 시간 방치 후 첫 시동이 항상 잘 되지 않음. 차량은 그 외에 완벽하게 작동함. 점화 버튼을 누르면 크랭킹이 없고 내비게이션이 꺼짐. 브레이크를 계속 밟고 있으면 몇 초 지연 후 크랭킹이 시작되기도 함. 때로는 크랭킹이 전혀 안 될 수도 있음. 차량을 몰다가 시동을 끄고 다시 켜면 정상 크랭킹됨. 아침에 배터리 전압이 11.8V로 측정됨.

보트가 항상 왼쪽으로 방향을 틀려고 하며 스티어링 휠에 심한 저항감이 있음. 오후 운행 후 marina 도착 시 오일 캡이 있는 부분에서 연기가 나고 금속음이 나는 윤맥음(메탈 온 메탈) 발생.

1998/99년식 토요타 RAV4에서 에어컨을 켠 후 주행 중 엔진이 꺼짐. 시동을 걸면 다시 시작되며 에어컨을 끄면 엔진이 꺼지지 않음. 에어컨을 다시 켜면 엔진이 다시 꺼짐.

2003 Ford Mustang 3.8L V6의 오일 필터 어댑터를 분리할 때, 어댑터와 엔진 사이의 개스킷이 교체 필요한 상태. 온라인에서 해당 개스킷을 찾을 수 없어서 RTV 실란트로 대체 가능 여부 확인 필요.

엔진오일 교환

2009 포드 머스탱에서 휘발유를 주입할 때마다 거의 매 갤런마다 주유기 노즐이 탱크가 가득 찬 것처럼 자동으로 튕겨 나간다. 노즐을 누르고 있어도 계속 튕겨 나가서 주유 시간이 매우 오래 걸린다.

도로의 구멍에 차가 부딪힌 후 시동이 꺼졌고 현재 휘발유가 없는 것처럼 작동함. 비상 상황에서 연료가 차단되었을 가능성이 있는지 확인 필요. 트렁크와 매뉴얼을 확인했으나 리셋 스위치를 찾을 수 없음.

엔진오일 교환

1997 Ford F-250 Heavy Duty 7.3L Powerstroke (212,000마일)의 듀얼 연료탱크 게이지 문제. 전면 탱크에 18.3갤런, 후면 탱크에 16.7갤런을 주입했으나 전면 탱크 게이지가 약 1/4 정도로만 표시됨. 후면 탱크는 가득 찬 것으로 표시됨.

2004 F150, 200,000마일. 3,000마일마다 오일 1쿼트 추가, 5,000마일마다 오일 교환. 애틀란타 지역. 오일 캡을 열었을 때 마요네즈 같은 노란색 페이스트 상태의 퇴적물 발견. 디스틱에는 흔적 없음.

1986년식 포드 F-150이 새 연료탱크와 연료라인 설치 후 수 개월 사이에 기계식 연료펌프 4개가 고장남. 픽업튜브에 스트레이너 장착(원래 없었음), 펌프 앞에 추가 연료필터 설치 등 여러 시도했으나 계속 고장남. 전기펌프도 임시로 장착했으나 약 100마일 주행 후 소손됨(배선 오류 가능성도 있음). 새 탱크인데도 불구하고 침전물 등의 문제가 있을 수 있어 탱크 드롭 및 완전 배출을 고려 중.
