Bobby Lee said: They may have benchmarked the handling of the Focus but I can tell you they didn t get ANYWHERE NEAR. Might be less likely to fall apart though.Eh, Focuses from this era are almost indestructible? The Golfs are decent, but rot like mad and have a lot more small quality issues...
Lovely cars to drive but don't underestimate their incredible ability to rot. Not just the standard VAG front wings, but the sills. These literally evaporate under the textured underseal to the extent that you can tear big sheets of it away and what used to be the sills, with it. GTi's have the plastic sill covers, hiding it nicely.A lowish mileage and mechanically good red 3 door is probably worth repairing if not too far gone but in most cases, the inner sills and floors are well on the way as well.

How did we get to the point that something like that is put into production by a major brand like VW?I realise it's not entirely exceptional. But history won't be kind to this era of taken-on tablets. They'll look incredibly dated and tacky once the fashion passes. It's not fashion, it's just cheap and lazy cost cutting on the part of VW (and most other brands). I can't believe anyone wants that crap in their car. I'm going to be in trouble when I need to replace the family bus unless I can find something

Local dealer matched DtD.According to the BoE inflation calculator, that's a shade under 40 grand today.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
