정비 사례

1965년형 Pontiac Bonneville, 4배럴 Carter AFB 캐브레터 장착. 시동 후 따뜻해지면 즉시 꺼짐 증상 반복. 초크가 켜져 있을 때는 잘 달리지만, 워밍업 후 초크가 열리면 시동-꺼짐을 반복. 악셀을 계속 밟고 있으면 정상 작동하고 소리도 좋음. 간헐적으로 1분 정도 유지되기도 함. 캐브레터를 정비소에서 점검받고 재설치했으나 증상 미해결.

중고차 구매 시 엔진 오일 교환 이력 확인 문제. 압축 테스트로 엔진 내 오일 슬러지/가우드 축적 여부를 판단할 수 있는지, 그리고 가우드 축적이 있을 경우 오일 교환만으로 해결 가능한지 궁금함.

1986년식 포드 F-150이 새 연료탱크와 연료라인 설치 후 수 개월 사이에 기계식 연료펌프 4개가 고장남. 픽업튜브에 스트레이너 장착(원래 없었음), 펌프 앞에 추가 연료필터 설치 등 여러 시도했으나 계속 고장남. 전기펌프도 임시로 장착했으나 약 100마일 주행 후 소손됨(배선 오류 가능성도 있음). 새 탱크인데도 불구하고 침전물 등의 문제가 있을 수 있어 탱크 드롭 및 완전 배출을 고려 중.

2004 F150, 200,000마일. 3,000마일마다 오일 1쿼트 추가, 5,000마일마다 오일 교환. 애틀란타 지역. 오일 캡을 열었을 때 마요네즈 같은 노란색 페이스트 상태의 퇴적물 발견. 디스틱에는 흔적 없음.

냉각수 보충 중 냉각수 탱크에 오일이 섞여 있는 것을 발견. 정비소에서 헤드개스킷이 아닐 것 같다고 진단 (엔진 과열 없음, 오일에 물 없음, 배기가스에서 연기 없음). 써모스탯 하우징에서 오일이 새는 것이 원인일 가능성이 있다고 설명. 다른 2개 정비소에서는 헤드개스킷 문제라고 주장.

냉각수 교환

2010 실버라도 1500 4WD, 주행거리 565,000km. 2주전 오일 교환 후 500km 주행. 어제 엔진 뒤쪽 히터 호스 파열로 인한 냉각수 누수 발생. 엔진 과열(온도계 최고). 엔진 거친 운전 및 약한 출력. 고속도로 주행 후 5분간 거친 운전, 1시간 휴식, 시내 주행 10분간 거친 운전 후 과열 인식. 오늘 대시보드에 오일 교환 알림 표시됨.

2004 Chevy Monte Carlo A/C가 무작위로 전속력으로 송풍되며, 송풍 다이얼을 OFF로 돌리면 온/냉풍이 나오지 않지만 다이얼을 다른 위치로 설정하면 온/냉풍이 나옴. 엔진을 끈 후에도 송풍이 계속됨. 블로워 모터 저항기를 4번 교체함.

냉각수 교환

2015 스바루 아웃백에서 에어컨을 최고 풍량으로 설정했을 때 에어컨 벤트에서 미세한 딱딱거리는 음이 발생합니다. 또한 대시 중앙의 왼쪽 벤트에서 오른쪽 벤트보다 훨씬 약한 바람이 분사됩니다. 딜러에서는 딱딱거리는 음은 냉매 순환으로 인한 정상 현상이고 왼쪽 벤트 약풍은 원인을 찾을 수 없다고 했습니다.

2008 말리부 가속 시 에어컨에서 뜨거운 바람 분출. 정차 중이거나 정속 운행 중에는 냉각되어 찬바람이 나옴.

2004 Mercury Grand Marquis 오토 에어컨 블로워가 고속과 저속 2단계에서만 작동하다가 완전히 작동 중지됨. 최근에 레지스터가 고장난 것으로 확인됨. 팬 스위치 불량 가능성이 있는지 확인 필요.

에어컨 압력 스위치(AC pressure switch)가 반으로 부러져 있음. 센서 주변에 씰이 있어서 제거 시 냉매가 모두 빠질 수 있을지 궁금함. 제거해도 되는지, 셧오프 밸브가 있는지, 아니면 냉매를 다시 충전하면 되는지 확인 필요.

E43을 E63으로 교체 검토 중 (실린더 2개 추가)

A good friend of mine who's father died acquired his car with the reg 1 GPT. Trying to help her sell it - I decided to put it on ebay to get an idea of market value. 견인용 브레이크 컨트롤러와 7핀 콘센트를 설치 중인데, 배선도에서 7핀과 브레이크 컨트롤러가 배터리에 직접 연결되어 있음. 시동이 켜졌을 때만 작동하는 스위치 전원에 연결할 수 있는지, 그리고 가능하다면 최적의 스위치 전원이 무엇인지 알고 싶음.
