I feel the Fiat Seicento receives bad press, just because it is small and has 55bhp as std. After subtle modifications (Eibach Springs, Collins Performance Chip, Italian back box [forget brand], K&N filter with breather pipe through front vent, upgraded ignition leads, upgraded plugs, ecotek valve and some Nitrox in the tank) my 1st entry into the driving fraternity was a pocket rocket. The Eibach Springs alone transformed the handling, never mind the performance gains (whilst negligible) made me feel fast.Aside from the clutch cable going twice (weak spot I feel) and ultimately requiring a new clutch, I enjoyed the Fiat Seicento. So much so, it had several round trips in and out of Wales. To the ordinary person my Seicento looked std, including the 2 grandmas that once waved at me in the delight at seeing another trundle past. The latter was a highlight for me. They've probably since moved on (RIP).I wouldn't buy the advertised example at £3,495.00. Like others say, it's a 1-1.5K car and don't trust the 57K on the clock., but who knows.
