정비 사례

1965년형 Pontiac Bonneville, 4배럴 Carter AFB 캐브레터 장착. 시동 후 따뜻해지면 즉시 꺼짐 증상 반복. 초크가 켜져 있을 때는 잘 달리지만, 워밍업 후 초크가 열리면 시동-꺼짐을 반복. 악셀을 계속 밟고 있으면 정상 작동하고 소리도 좋음. 간헐적으로 1분 정도 유지되기도 함. 캐브레터를 정비소에서 점검받고 재설치했으나 증상 미해결.

2010 Opel Corsa D 1.2 GplTech, 84,000 km. LPG 사용 시 부분 스로틀에서 저음의 윙윙거리는 소음(수백 Hz) 발생. 일반 가솔린 연료 사용 시에는 증상 없음. 과도한 연료 소비 없음.

The Modded Mark 7 Golf is firmly in that category now. I was following this fine example of the breed earlier whilst bringing a car back from an MOT - absolutely pissing blue oil smoke out. The driver was exactly what you'd expect from a tuned / w@anked out old Golf - he got out of his car to remonstrate with my phone pictures.....'it's on the way to the tuners. It's overfuelling'. I'm in for the engine all day long, but like others, I'm not all that keen on the colour or the wheels though. But it could be worse though, because it could be electric for me, and I definitely wouldn't want that at all. I was in London over the weekend, and I heard a V12 Rolls Royce start up, and it immediately put a smile on my face for sure. It was subdued of course, but life doesn't get much better than sitting behind a V12 engine in my view.

1998 마즈다 626 2.0L GF 연료펌프 유량 테스트를 수행하려고 하는데, WSM에 인젝터 통전 시간이 명시되어 있지 않음. 인젝터 접지선을 역탐침하여 접지시켜 인젝터를 활성화할 계획. 특수공구에 타이밍이 내장되어 있을 것으로 예상.
