I understand that AC Delco encodes the month of manufacturing a car battery using two digits and encodes the year by one digit. The battery I just purchased, for example, is labeled P124R, which, IIUC, means that it was made in December 2014. I'm puzzled by this ambiguity regarding the decade of manufacture. I came home fro work work yesterday to find damage to the drivers corner of my car, whilst looking at the damage neighbour comes out and says the new driver from up the road had an incident in the morning where she got stuck on their lawn. She would have had to go past my car to get to the lawn. Said neighbour is pretty sure the new driver caused the damage although didn't see it. 토요타 비츠 2007년형이 에어컨 켤 때 공회전이 불규칙함. 에어컨을 끄면 공회전이 부드러워짐. 교통체증에서 갑자기 정지할 때 진동이 더 심함. 정지 직후 몇 번의 거친 진동이 발생한 후 부드러워짐. 연료 필터 청소, 에어 필터 및 에어컨 필터 교체, 엔진 오일 교체 등의 정비를 받았으나 문제 미해결.

거의 운전하지 않는 차량(월 100마일)에서 휘발유를 채울 때 권장보다 높은 옥탄가의 휘발유를 사용하는 것이 이점이 있는지 궁금함. 휘발유가 오래 방치되면 옥탄가가 낮아진다는 이야기를 들었음. 이러한 이야기가 사실인지 확인하고 싶음. 만약 사실이라면 권장 옥탄가 수준을 유지하기 위해 더 높은 옥탄가 휘발유를 사용하는 것이 합리적인지 알고 싶음.

연료 필터를 교체하면서 이전 필터가 역방향으로 설치되었음을 발견. 몇 개월 동안 이 상태로 차량을 사용함.

냉각수가 우유처럼 뿌옇게 변함. 약 1주일 전부터 시작됨. 과열되지는 않았으나 속도를 50-60km/h로 제한해서 운전 중. 내리막길에서는 뉴트럴로 70-90km/h로 운행. 필요한 경우(아이 학교/어린이집 등교)만 운전 중.

에어컨 가스 충전

92 Civic DX의 간헐적 에어컨 작동 불량 (수 년 지속). 제어판에 압력을 가하면 정상 작동하는 경우가 많음. 시스템이 식으면 정상 작동 복구됨. 진단 결과: 에어컨 스위치에서 나가는 파란색/빨간색 배선(제어판 → 에어컨 써모스탯 → 콘덴서 팬 릴레이 및 에어컨 클러치 릴레이로 연결)과 차체 간에 +3~+9V의 전압 감지됨. 명백한 전기 문제.

배터리 테스트 시 표면 충전(surface charge)으로 인한 거짓 양성 판독값 발생. 배터리 전압이 약간 높게 나타나고 충전 상태(SoC) 읽기가 부정확함.

배터리 교환

차를 정상적으로 운전한 후 1시간 주차했을 때 배터리가 거의 방전됨. 시동이 걸리지 않고 비상등도 제대로 작동하지 않음. 점프 스타트로 시동 후 약 30분 운전 중 대시보드 조명과 게이지가 간헐적으로 꺼짐. 헤드라이트는 계속 켜져 있었음. 엔진을 끄자마자 배터리가 다시 방전되고 시동이 걸리지 않음.
