TRIED STARTING VEHICLE IN THE MORNING, TEMP WAS ABOUT 70 DEGREES, CAR HAS THE PUSH TO START BUTTON. BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH AN AFTERMARKET YELLOW TOP DEEP CYCLE BATTERY ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START, CAR ACTED AS IF THE BATTERY WAS VERY LOW IT TURNED OVER, DASH WENT BLACK FOR ABOUT 3 SECONDS AND CAR STARTED VERY FORCEFULLY. CAR HAD BEEN PARKED UNDER CARPORT FOR ABOUT 16 HOURS. THE DAY BEFORE CAR WAS IN THE SAME CONDITIONS AND STARTED RIGHT UP NO PROBLEMS.

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe will start then die. Then it will not start. After pumping the accelerator or holding on the floor and returning later it will start. Nothing codes out. This happens probably 15% of the time. Any ideas?

CAR BATTERY CONSISTENTLY DIES EVEN WHEN VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN IN OPERATION FOR ONE FULL DAY. I HAVE A DASH CAM THAT IS IN OPERATION ALL THE TIME AND DISCONNECTED IT THINKING IT WAS THE PROBLEM. HOWEVER THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. TODAY IS THE 10TH TIME THE CAR BATTERY HAS DIED IN 3 MONTHS.THIS TIME I HAD THE KEY IN THE SLOT TURNED ONE NOTCH (CAR ENGINE NOT TURNED ON) AND WAS PLAYING MUSIC VIA BLUETOOTH, WHEN SCREEN FLICKERED AND EVERYTHING WENT OUT. DEALERSHIP SAYS THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH BATTERY AND REFUSES TO CHANGE IT.

Coworker has a 2008 Hyundai Accent, which has overheated repeatedly, consumes a lot of coolant, and barely runs. He wants me to assist with repairing the engine, if possible. I assume by now, the head is warped or cracked, but what I am trying to determine is if the engine block in this model is iron or aluminum. If it’s iron, this can probably be repaired. If it’s aluminum, the entire engine would need to be replaced, which is more work than I would want to do.

the car has been leaking oil. it had been leaking oil for over a year now but she just kept driving it. it’s coming from somewhere above and not to drain plug. in one pic it might seem like it’s the drain plug but it is not. i wiped it down and there was no more oil dripping for hours. the drip or leak only occurs after it’s been driven. I own a MK 1 Citi Golf Sport 1.6 Carb that has 523220 km. I recently flushed the cooling system and changed the coolant. After the flush the temperature showed above normal despite changing everything. I also replaced the thyristor and still the temperature gauge reads above normal 50%. The fan kicks in as normal and the car is not overheating. I have had a dry and wet pressure test done, compression good. There is no mixing of water and oil. In dealer 2 different dealers for 2 computer failures 2x. So called repaired. Car hits the brakes by itself there is no way to turn off the radar on the front of the car. You have to remember to turn it off everytime you drive it. Then the gas pedal and brakes failed. The tow truck guy said just disconnect the battery for 15 minutes to re-set the Ecu. I have another case and I’m wondering if I can get some perspectives. My 1999 Nissan Maxima manual transmission is needing a new clutch. It will be about an $1800 job. It has 204,000 miles on it. Left rear cross traffic sensor fell into rear bumper (adhesive failure?). This is the second incident. Toyota service manager claims it was knocked into bumper by external force although that is not what happened. The sensor failed when groceries were loaded into trunk during Covid. This is the exact sensor that was repaired by the service department previously claiming it was due to adhesive failure. There is no way to disable the sensor failure alarm on the dashboard display so there is a constant rear sensor failure alarm blinking constantly on the dashboard which is annoying.

2018 Camry XSE, Vacuum pump went on my car less then a year ago. I had my car towed to the dealership for the recall to be fixed. Since that incident my car hasn’t been the same. When I was complete left or right turning steering wheel at low rpm, it feels like hard of stiff and loosen and stiff again and loosen.So I was gone to toyota dealership, but they couldnt find anything.

2019 Honda Odyssey, about 65k miles. I accidentally tried starting my van without my foot pressing down on the break pedal (something I don’t do typically) and was greeted with a low voltage battery warning, turn off headlights… Warning. Pressed foot on the break and van started up just fine. This seems to can be replicated every time. Is this normal when you try to do this?

My 07 Impala stopped blowing air so I got a new blower motor. I take the old one out, connect the plug to the new one and nothing. I took a multi meter and connected it’s leads to the plug that goes to the blower motor to see if it’s getting power. As I turned the fan up and down, the meter also went up and down. Other times they are shot but nice to learn how they work and what went wrong. Blowing warm air. Compressor clutch engages when air turned on. I replaced the clutch coil last summer. Low side reading ~39 High side ~45. Low side does react (very little) when RPM is increased, high side does not. Most of my findings lead me to believe that the compressor is bad but I also know that low freon will make my high side low. Car (98 grand-prix se 3.1) only has 49k miles on it and I feel the compressor should still be good (that’s partly my wallet talking as well). WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK , ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY, MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON MY DASHBOARD AND MY CAR WOULD NOT ACCELARATE.
