F Pace SVR cheaper and outpaces all bar the Porsche and sounds epic.
cerb4.5lee said: Our 2024 X5 40d did 46.5mpg on the way back from Birmingham yesterday, and I think that is impressive for something so big and heavy really. Especially when I only got 12mpg on my commute(and I never saw over 20mpg in it no matter what I did) in the old 2004 X5 4.8iS in comparison as well. I do actually like the way the X5 drives on the air suspension too, and it's a nice thing to cover miles in I reckon, although I also can appreciate why SUV's are disliked on here in general though, because they go against everything that makes a good drivers car I think really. Electric cars are similar as well I think, and they also go against everything that makes a good drivers car too(no noise/no manual gearbox/too heavy etc). I've just got back from a play in the D3, I suspect you're getting at least 20 mpg more than me. This morning's run is what I like about this sort of vehicle and why something Range Rover and V8 will suit me when it's time to replace it. A bit of offroad, bit of wading, a shrugging off of the storm whilst providing plenty of comfort and a good view of the changing season. I wouldn't be without one in my rural locale.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!
