My G42 is back at BMW for the second round of headlight replacement - this time it’s just diagnosis as the revised parts aren’t available yet but i wanted to be in the queue for their eventual availability. Why am I posting about this on my MINI thread? Well, look at the courtesy car they’ve given me!Obviously it’s huge and ugly as sin but I quite like the interior. God knows what this list price on it would be. It’s JCW spec with seemingly all the options ticked. I can’t imagine they sell a huge number, but as small(ish) family SUV’s go it’s at least offering something a bit different.

TLDR; I bought an old(ish) car blind and will be making an 8 hour round trip to bring it home on WednesdayThe long version:Back when the new MINI was still new, I had one of the first generation Cooper S. I loved that car and nigh on 20 years later I still look back fondly:In recent years I’ve tried various hot/sporty/fast cars, none of which have stuck and have been moved on in fairly short order. Currently we own nothing of interest and I daily a Skoda! In the last few months I’ve really started to look at the R53 as a bit of a classic in the making. They’re definitely past the bottom of the

Red MINI. What’s not to like? Brilliant fun to drive, relatively easy to work on, lots of cheap parts or expensive (but proven) upgrades, and won’t ever lose you a penny. Perfect - hope you enjoy it!

Seems like a pretty good lottery win buy to leave on the continent.Would probably want to make it a little more like a 430 Cup performance spec en route.

마루야마 MS035KD 동력분무기 - 캐스케이드식 펌프 베이스가 샤프트에서 빠짐. 펌프 베이스 뒷면에서 씰 누수 발생(농약 결정화로 추정). 엔진 플라이휠 커버 부식 손상.

97 Civic LX에 오일을 과다 주입한 후 약 30마일을 주행했을 때 과열 발생하고 냉각수가 누출되기 시작. 과잉 오일을 드레인했을 때 색상이 갈색. 유휴 상태에서는 정상 작동하지만 수 마일 주행 후 다시 과열 발생.

Back from holiday so the car was collected today and deposited safely at the bodyshop. It was greeted by a 1991 Sierra Cosworth fresh out of the booth following some light restoration so I’m very much hoping the MINI looks as good when I next see it!

Whilst sat in the beer garden we had a brief look Autotrader, after which followed the subject of E Class coupes, and how much of a bargain they are.
