You have no life experience outside of mundane normality and therefore struggle to understand and accept that there is another world out there. PH is largely populated by office workers and IT geeks who think a weekend at Guilfest is edgy and a dispute over wheelie bins is a big drama. Anyone who lives outside of those fluffy boundaries must be a fantasist.Your reliance on 'stats assembled fr

No standard (if you could call it that!) Cooper S could crack 100mph, each variant topped out around 95mph. 120mph in a classic Cooper S would be something mental, in an era where 100mph in a Downton Mini was newsworthy. The vibration, the blur, the noise, it wasn't something you'd keep up for very long at all. I was at a track day where a guy was testing a 1960s Cooper (I don't remember if it was an S, but it was a track only racing car with cage etc), and he was actually VMaxing early enough on Hangar Straight that he was backing off to about 80 so he didn't need to sit at VMax for the rest of it.Which makes me think "perhaps a modern BMW era Mini Cooper S?". But then that would put these events comfortably in the 21st century, hence wouldn't really be "different times" where that sort of thing happened. What I'm saying is, if it was a classic era Mini, can we see it? Perhaps an optomistic speedo or imaginitive mother. My top speed in a mini 998 was somewhere between 50 and 100 mph. The needle just wanged around. I was going to say hovered but no it wanged around violently. If I were to say what the true top speed was about 75 downhill. As that was the average.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
