My local town has a blanket 20mph within its central area and on all routes in. I avoid it as much as I can now. People drive like zombies.Recently I noticed people are now moving around at barely more than 10/12mph. You can actually overtake within a 20mph zone without officially speeding.

That's very annoying, and I'm sure it discourages people from getting over to lane 1 as often as they should, knowing it's going to be a pain to get out again when needed. I don't go on motorways much, and recently it's been in one of the classics where I like to obsessively get back to L1 "just in case". But time and time again I'm having to drop my speed because I'm being blocked from overtaking by people taking an age to overtake me and I like plenty of room to overtake.I've now adapted so that if I move to L1 I'm looking in my driver mirror and planning for the people behind almost as much as I'm looking ahead and planning for where I need to pull out, as like you two I've been caught out by these fkwits more than once. And I'm now more 'defensive' in that I pull out sooner and possibly slow down someone coming up on me because I'm fed up of this behaviour. It's wrong because it's not 'social' driving - it's a little selfish and game-theory wise it doesn't engender any nice warm fuzzy feelings in others who can then be courteous to someone else in turn, but I'm coming to the conclusion that a lot of people are either on cruise control or are on their own blinkered autopilot and really don't even THINK about anyone else on the road.Unreal said: Really common now and you're right that you have to maintain higher speeds to keep out of their orbit. It can happen at higher speeds where they also seem to pace you but won't go past. The standard behaviour seems to be to arrive in your vicinity at a fairly reasonable or even rapid speed differential and then just slow down to match your pace.I think

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
