추운 날씨(화씨 20도)에서 2일 후 시동을 걸었고, 약 15분간 엔진을 데운 후 시동을 껐습니다. 그 후 차가 시동이 걸리지 않습니다. 크랭킹은 되지만 시작 전에 꺼집니다. 클릭음이 나고 계기판 라이트가 깜빡입니다. 트럭과 캐러밴의 강력한 배터리 두 개로 점프 스타트를 시도했지만 작동하지 않았습니다. 항상 풀 신스 5w-30 고주행 거리 오일을 사용하고 1주일 전에 오일을 교환했습니다. 오일 레벨은 거의 가득 찼습니다.

변속기 오일 교환

모든 볼트가 매우 팽팽하게 조여있음. 마지막 볼트에 최대한 힘을 가했는데도 움직이지 않음 (1995 Ford Mustang, 6기통)

배터리 교체 시 검은색(음극) 케이블을 먼저 연결하고 빨간색(양극) 케이블을 나중에 연결함. 연결 시 알람이 한 번 울렸지만 스파크, 화재, 깜빡임 등 특이사항 없음. 몇 시간 운전 후 모든 것이 정상 작동 중. 배터리가 단락되거나 손상되었을 가능성 우려.

에어컨 가스 충전

부드럽게 정지할 때, 정지 직전에 제동력이 순간적으로 약해지는 느낌이 들고, 엔진 RPM이 약간 올라가는 것 같음(에어컨 컴프레서가 꺼질 때처럼). 브레이크 페달을 더 세게 눌러야 함. 차는 항상 정지하지만, 다른 상황에서는 이런 증상이 없음.

배터리 교환

하이브리드 자동차(예: 토요타 프리우스)는 좋지만 배터리 유지보수/교체 걱정 없이 휘발유만으로 운전하고 싶음. 프리우스에서 배터리를 제거하고 일반 비하이브리드 자동차처럼 운전할 수 있는지 궁금함.

2000 Mercury Grand Marquis가 시동이 꺼질 것 같은 느낌과 함께 이상한 진동이 발생. 어제 친구 집에서 출발할 때 갑작스러운 충격과 함께 무언가가 떨어지는 소리 발생. 나머지 운전 중에는 과열 없음. 엔진룸을 확인한 결과 히터 호스가 손상되었고, 필터 홀의 PVC 밸브가 내부에서 녹아있음. 6개월 전 덕트테이프로 임시 수리했던 부분이 벗겨짐. K&N 에프터마켓 흡기 장착 상태.

엔진오일 교환

1.5 TDCi 엔진의 wet belt 설정 여부 확인 필요. 단거리 주행이 많을 경우 휘발유가 오일을 오염시켜 wet belt를 손상시키고 고무 조각이 오일 픽업을 막아 저유압 문제 발생 가능성 우려.

운전 중 차량이 약간 우측으로 드리프트되고 감속 시 좌측으로 드리프트됨. 앞 타이어 좌측(n/s) 내측 엣지에서 불균형한 마모 발생.

2005 쉐보레 코발트 LS에서 후진 쪽(운전석 쪽으로 추정)에서 큰 클릭/쿵쿵거리는 소음 발생. 몇 시간 이상 주차 후 출발할 때 주로 발생하며, 약 5분 후 멈추지만 회전 시 또는 무작위로 다시 시작됨. 최근 전방 승객석 볼조인트와 운전석 후진 코일 스프링 교체함. 지역의 포트홀로 인해 지속적인 서스펜션/스티어링 문제 발생.

I bought a registration and haven’t assigned it to my own car so the retention document is still in the previous owner’s name. Can I sell the registration on without having assigned it to my own car or do I have to first get the registration in my name before selling it? Ideally I’d like to avoid the £80 fee.

My daughter has just passed her test, first time. Very proud. And in a manual A learner policy on her car was a mere £200/yr, but now she's passed the best quotes are £800 with a black box or £1700 without (which is actually less than I was expecting).Does anyone have experience of how restrictive a black box is? Both my boys had a BB policy none of them had any issues in their first year. I treated it like a learning year and they had to stick to the rules as they gained the essential experience. I didn’t want the “youth” pressure of having mates in cars and doing stuff that we all got away with on the roads these days.After that first year their renewals dropped well below the BB policy price, I thought it was worth it for the peace of mind and value.

Watching the Sun interview it goes from initially observing the roll hoop is too low, no effective helmets, no previous three wheeler experience and finally pressure to ‘let’s try and get it on two wheels’. If that’s how a BBC flagship show was run less than five years ago it’s genuinely shocking.
