Beautiful!
MDifficult said: Still personally prefer the bullets but those look mega - I can see why you like them! Best of luck with reassembly! I like the rarity and there’s a faint whiff of TSW Venom about them. I’d have killed for a set of those on my mk3 Escort in 1996!

It has been done but I'm a stickler for keeping things original and it isn't really a car for driving quickly in anyway, I don't think. Horses for courses and all that.I had a 205 for many years (my mum actually had 6 back to back when I was a child), sold it during one of the lockdowns, often think about it still. You can't beat that tin can lightness of older French cars. I've got a 20 year old 987 S for when something needs to be taken by the scruff on the neck. That's taxed all year round too so gets a bit more action than this one does.

It's a car that you take in the scenery with, can waft along with your thoughts. That is of course unless you have a two year old who is gently reminding you on a consistent basis that she 'don't want roof down', then you're maybe not so relaxed and feeling like a bad parent as her hair adopts the windswept look. I bought this at the end of last summer, having owned possibly the nicest one of these in the world a co
