왼쪽 뒤 타이어의 사이드월 부풀음으로 인해 타이어 교체가 필요했고, 타이어점 직원의 권유로 뒤 타이어 두 개를 함께 교체하기로 결정. 4성급 미쉐린($114), 3성급 쿠모($99), 2성급($60-70대) 타이어 중 쿠모를 선택했으나, 자신의 선택이 올바른지 확인하고 싶음. 타이어 선택 시 비용 대비 품질을 어떻게 판단해야 하는지 궁금해함.

2004 닛산 무라노에서 브레이크 패드, 캘리퍼, 로터를 모두 교체한 후 발생. 도시 주행 중 빈번한 제동 후 약 1시간 운전하면 우측 전륜 브레이크가 과열됨. 신호 정지 후 가속할 때 고착된 것처럼 소음 발생.

수즈키 킁베르(1990년형). 과속방지턱을 지날 때 자동차가 심하게 튀면서 무서운 충격음이 나고 부품이 손상됨. 서스펜션을 교체했지만 4명이 탈 때도 같은 증상 발생. 해결 방법을 모르겠음.

지프 체로키 리미티드 2.8CRD (06년식)이 MOT 검사에 불합격했습니다. 근처쪽과 먼쪽 리어의 "토크/리액션 암"을 교체해야 합니다. 이것이 무엇인지, "컨트롤 암"과 같은 것인지 궁금합니다.

75년식 더스터의 프론트 엔드 문제. 드라이버 사이드 프론트 휠이 앞으로 이동하여 휠 앞쪽 펜더에 닿음. 휠 앞쪽에 반손가락 간격, 뒤쪽에 세 손가락 간격 있음. 어퍼 컨트롤 암 부시, 캠 볼트, 아이들러 암, 볼 조인트를 교체했음에도 타이어가 여전히 센터에서 벗어남. 스트럿 로드 확인 - 부시는 양호하고 로드는 직선 상태. 여러 사람이 스트럿 로드가 문제의 원인이라고 주장함.

폭풍 중 다리를 내려오던 중 보이지 않는 도로의 심한 홍수에 시속 44km로 물에 충돌. 물이 앞 유리에 흩어지고 속도가 20km로 감소했으며, 엔진룸으로 물이 유입됨.

브레이크를 밟고 있을 때 자동차가 진동함. 정지 신호나 드라이브 스루에서 멈춰 있을 때 발생. 때로는 상당히 큰 소음이 나고 때로는 멈춤. 니트럴이나 파크에 놓으면 멈춤. 브레이크를 밟을 때만 발생하며, 평평한 곳에서 브레이크를 밟지 않으면 소음이 없음. 브레이크 교환 후 약 1주일 후에 소음 발생 확인

브레이크 패드 교환

엔진에 부하가 걸릴 때(핸드브레이크 적용 상태에서 가속) 금속성 갈리는 소음 발생. 3단에서 2200-2300 RPM일 때 지속적으로 발생하며, 2단, 4단, 5단에서도 과도하게 높은 기어로 일정한 속도 유지 시 청음. 변속기 결함, 베어링 손상 등이 의심됨.

브레이크 패드 교체 후 첫 번째 주행에서 브레이크가 과열되어 연기가 나고 금속음이 들렸으며, 두 번째 장거리 주행(약 225km)에서도 같은 증상 반복. 도시 주행 중 브레이크 과열로 연기와 냄새 발생. 고속도로 70mph 주행 중 갑자기 진동 발생했다가 속도를 올리니 사라짐.

브레이크 패드 교환

2004 현대 게츠 1.3 후륜 브레이크 실린더(rear brake cylinder) 교체 시, 새 실린더에는 블리더 너트(bleeder nut)만 포함되어 있고 브레이크 호스를 실린더에 연결하는 유니온 너트(union nut)가 없음. 기존 유니온은 11mm 플랫(flats)을 가지고 있으며, 실린더와 함께 제공되는 블리더 너트도 11mm 플랫을 가지고 있음. 스레드는 M10x1로 측정됨.

I like V8's, and I like that you can hear the engine/exhaust more in a convertible generally as well. So count me in. I always enjoyed driving my BiL's E93 M3 too, plus I've also always fancied a V8 Mustang.
