앞 우측 타이어에 연석 충돌로 인한 약 1인치 길이의 작은 손상 발생. 손상은 타이어 표면을 가로질러 있으며 내부 쪽으로 약 1/4인치 정도 진행됨. BF Goodrich Advantage T/A, 225/50R17 타이어, 주행거리 약 3000마일.

리어 라이트 타이어 사이드월에 심각한 볼록한 변형(bulge) 발생. 하이웨이 주행 가능 여부 확인 필요.

VW Passat B5 타이어에 '195/65R15 91 V' 마킹이 있는데 이것이 무엇을 의미하는지, 그리고 향후 교체 타이어도 정확히 같은 마킹이어야 하는지 확인하고 싶음

타이어 럭 너트 4개는 풀렸으나 맨 아래쪽 럭 너트가 심하게 고착되어 있음. 제공된 렌치로 돌려도, 서서 밟아도 풀리지 않음. 렌치가 휘어지는 현상 발생. 녹은 많지 않은 것으로 보임.

타이어 옆면이 완전히 손상되어 분해된 상태. 운전 중 갑자기 발생했다고 주장하지만, 심각한 손상 정도를 보면 추가 주행이 있었을 가능성 있음. 런플랫 타이어일 수 있는 신형 고급차량.

타이어에 버블이 생김. 사이드월이 아닌 트레드 근처에 위치. 승용차, 하이브리드 차량.

시동 직후 스티어링 휠을 좌우로 돌릴 때 그라인딩 음이 발생하며, 연속 운전 중에는 음이 사라짐. 일주일 전 새 알로이 휠과 타이어를 교체했으며 그 이후부터 발생. 이전 휠은 16인치였고 현재는 17인치 휠과 타이어로 교체함.

2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Wagon의 승객석 뒷타이어가 손상됨. 현재 타이어 트레드는 약 6/32" 남아있음 (동전으로 측정). Nokian 타이어는 신품 시 11/32" 트레드 깊이. Tire Rack 자료에 따르면 Subaru는 트레드 깊이 편차를 2/32" 이내로 제한할 것을 권장함. 차량 매뉴얼에서는 구체적인 편차 허용치를 명시하지 않음.

2015 아쿠라 RDX에서 계절 및 온도 변화(20°F~100°F)에 따라 타이어 공기압 경고등이 반복적으로 켜짐. 일일 주행거리 약 50마일. 저온과 고온 환경 모두에 적합한 타이어 공기압을 찾고 있음.

2000 S10 4.3L 모델의 클러치 마스터 실린더가 누유 중. 특히 저온에서 누유가 심함. 브레이크 액을 자주 보충하며 임시로 관리 중.

TPMS 경고등이 여러 번 켜짐 (말굽 모양 기호 아님). 타이어 공기압이 35-37 psi로 정상 범위였음. 새 타이어로 교체 후에도 증상 지속. America's Tire에서 센서와 공기압 확인 결과 정상. Hyundai TSB 08-SS-010 TPMS 센서 모드 설정 관련 정보 필요.

2003 Honda Civic 4도어 LX에 새 겨울 타이어 장착 후 스티어링이 약해짐. 차선 변경 시 이전에는 스티어링 휠을 약 3인치만 돌렸으나 이제는 약 1/4바퀴(약 2배) 돌려야 함. 스티어링 풀림 현상, 진동 없음.

2004 포드 포커스, 주행거리 104,000km. 프론트 우측 휠에서 지속적인 소음 발생, 클러치 페달을 밟으면 소음 사라짐. 시속 60km/h와 120-130km/h 구간에서 스티어링 휠 진동 발생(강약 반복). 프론트 타이어 마모 상태 양호하나 교체 필요로 보임.

사고 차량 점검

시동할 때마다 SRS 경고등(에어백 경고등)과 시트벨트 경고등이 켜짐. 사고 이력 없음. 차량을 1주일 방치한 동안 눈과 얼음이 많이 쌓였음. 추운 날씨가 영향을 미칠 수 있는지 의문.

I bought some Michelin crossclimate2 tires today, went to the auto parts store for new wiper blades and the guy was in awe of the tires. He said they are great for the rims on my 2017 rav4, and they bubble on the bottom for more traction and a smoother ride. What warranty did you get. I said I do not know, but I am putting maybe 4k miles a year. I am not really worried about mileage as dry rot has been killing tires before mileage. He said I should have gone to Costco, better warranty, the shop I bought them from will rotate them every 5k miles for free, no road hazard.

Is planning a regular rotation of new tyres over their lifespan a good or bad plan? From many posts I've seen here and elsewhere on the web, motorists in the USA seem to see rotating tires as a task which ought to be undertaken at regular intervals. By rotating tires, I mean moving their position on the vehicle, so moving them from the front to rear axle for example. In the UK, we seldom do this.
