증상
타이어 옆면이 완전히 손상되어 분해된 상태. 운전 중 갑자기 발생했다고 주장하지만, 심각한 손상 정도를 보면 추가 주행이 있었을 가능성 있음. 런플랫 타이어일 수 있는 신형 고급차량.
처리 내용
타이어 압력 손실 후 장시간 주행으로 인한 손상. 타이어가 압력을 잃은 후 자동차의 무게로 압축되면서 옆면에 주름이 생기고, 이 부분이 반복적으로 구부러지면서 마찰열이 발생. 카커스가 충분히 뜨거워지면 트레드가 옆면에서 분리됨. 특히 후륜 타이어 펑크는 직진 주행 중에는 운전자가 인식하지 못할 수 있으므로 주의 필요. 원래 펑크의 원인은 특정할 수 없으나, 압력 손실 후 상당한 거리를 주행한 것이 명백함.

Friday and the first time I'm out for a drive by myself. BBB was hanging with the famalam in Hereford and then meeting me at the narrow boats down in Llangattock, so I was exploring South Wales via all the two lane B roads I could find.
