2007 혼다 시빅 엔진 교체 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. 처음에는 오일, 배터리, ECU 경고등이 나타나지 않음. 전기 기사가 퓨즈를 확인했으나 모두 정상. 대신 대시보드의 녹색 키 표시등이 깜빡임. 동일한 키로 차량 잠금/해제는 정상 작동. 전기 기사가 퓨즈 테스트 결과 차량이 키를 인식하지 못함.

87년형 GMC 픽업이 어제는 정상 작동했으나 오늘 아침 시동이 안 됨. 처음에는 실내등이 켜졌으나 지금은 아무것도 안 켜짐. 점프 케이블 연결 시 스파크 발생. 점프 시도 후 실내등이 꺼지고 크랭크 시 클릭음도 없음. 배터리는 4월 2일에 교체함.

배터리는 테스트했을 때 정상이지만 키를 돌려도 전기 반응이 없음. 지난 추수감사절 이후로 장시간 방치된 차량. 장시간 방치 후 차량이 다른 시스템을 셧다운하는지 확인 필요.

1974 Ford Econoline E200 Van, 8기통. 시동은 잘 걸리고 냉간 상태에서 잘 작동하지만, 워밍업 후 연료 분사가 안 되는 것처럼 느껴진다. 특히 언덕을 올라갈 때 출력이 떨어지거나 꺼진다. 재시동까지 5분을 기다려야 한다. 시동 코일, 휘발유 필터, 카뷰레터를 교체했으나 증상이 지속된다. 휘발유 펌프는 정상 작동하는 것으로 보인다.

I get the price is low, but that black rear spoiler would make me deeply suspicious of how the car has been treated.

연료 압력 조절기(FPR) 불량. 시동이 걸리긴 하지만 가끔 걸리지 않거나 여러 번 크랭크해야 함. 셰보레 서버번의 경우 교체에 시간이 오래 걸림. 향후 연료 분사기 고장 가능성 우려. 현재 휘발유 소비량 이상 가능성.

The Modded Mark 7 Golf is firmly in that category now. I was following this fine example of the breed earlier whilst bringing a car back from an MOT - absolutely pissing blue oil smoke out. The driver was exactly what you'd expect from a tuned / w@anked out old Golf - he got out of his car to remonstrate with my phone pictures.....'it's on the way to the tuners. It's overfuelling'. As title, I've recently acquired a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v project. Car is a Jade Green late model small bumper 16v. I haven't got the original engine but the project came with a choice of two. I've got a 9A 2.0 16v engine from a Corrado and an ABF 2.0 16v engine from a Mk3 Golf. I'm pretty certain I'm going with the ABF engine but that decision is a long way off. Before then the car will need inner and outer sills, floor pans, inner and outer wings, front and rear valances plus all the usual bodywork repairs. In the olden days this project would have been uneconomical but the values of these are onl
