엔진오일 교환

후드를 열 수 없어서 엔진 오일을 확인할 수 없음. 오일 수명이 76%로 표시됨.

부트 카펫에 새 엔진오일 약 500ml 이하가 새어 스며들었음. 카펫이 손상될 위험 없이 오일 얼룩을 제거하고 싶음.

1998 Mazda 626 GF 2L이 시동이 걸리지 않음. 1주일 전 에어 조정 스크류를 완전히 열린 상태에서 거의 닫힌 상태로 조정한 후 시동이 걸리지 않았음. 스크류를 다시 열었을 때 몇 번의 시도 후 시동이 걸렸고 10분간 운전했음. 1주일 후 다시 시동을 걸었을 때 순간 작동했다가 꺼짐. 시동을 다시 걸고 가속 시도했으나 같은 현상 반복. 현재 시동이 전혀 걸리지 않음.

2004 크라이슬러 콩코드 LXi 3.5 - 몇 달 전 주행 중 차를 끄고 가게 들어갔다 나왔을 때 시동 시 급속한 클릭음만 반복되고 시동 안 걸림. 20분 정도 기다리면 정상 시동됨. 이번 주에 휘발유 주입 후 동일한 증상 발생했는데 이번에는 시동이 걸리지 않음. 며칠 후 겨우 시동되어 20분간 워밍업하면서 RPM이 1-2칸 올라갔다 떨어지기를 반복함. 주행 시작 10분 후 주행 중 시동 꺼짐.

새 디젤 엔진 차량에 연료가 거의 없을 때(25마일 남음) 주유 후 약 100마일 주행 중 연료 오염으로 인한 것 같은 표준적인 진동 발생. 디젤을 주입했을 가능성이 99.99%이지만, 휘발유를 실수로 주입했을 가능성에 대한 우려.

2005 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 커먼레일 터보 디젤에서 엔진룸 아래쪽, 연료필터 주변에서 흰색 연기가 대량 발생. 연료필터 본체가 매우 뜨거움. 엔진 화재 위험으로 차량 사용 중단.

엔진오일 교환

2002 닛산 센트라(주행거리 80,000km)에서 외부 온도가약 32°C 이상이고 10마일 이상 주행할 때 엔진이 심하게 미스파이어 발생(연료 부족 같은 현상). 이 중에 타코미터가 불규칙하게 움직임. 미스파이어가 점점 빈번해지다가 결국 엔진 정지. 약 30분 후 엔진이 다시 냉각되면 정상 작동. 겨울에는 같은 거리 주행 시 문제 없음. 지난 여름 점검등이 켜져 딜러 방문했을 때 4개 점화 코일(ignition coil) 교체 필요 진단 받음.

1998 머스탕 V6. 겨울에 눈 위 경사진 드라이브웨이에서 탈출 시도 중 엔진을 과하게 레빙했고, 엔진이 스터터링한 후 시동이 꺼짐. 그 이후로 시동이 걸리지 않음. 크랜킹은 정상이지만 시동이 안 걸림. 온라인에서 찾은 정보에 따르면 과한 부하로 인해 '긴급' 연료 라인 스위치가 작동했을 가능성이 있으나 찾을 수 없음.

Just going through renewals on a Disco 5 and M4...both have gone up significantly despite my shopping around. We did have a vehicle stolen in January and obviously had to claim. I've not had this happen before, so I'm trying to figure whether this is the cause of the increase, or policies have gone up in general ? I'm talking c.40% increase on both policies.Any views appreciated.

From that issue of Autocar, these images were the main ones that just made my jaw drop. I couldn't believe how stunning this car looked. I was 25 at the time. Now 60, and the passage of time has just reinforced its timeless looks and perfect proportions. I got my renewal from Admiral last week and it had increased 25% (not due to any changes on my end).I shopped around and got it 25% cheaper elsewhere.I call Admiral to cancel the renewal, they ask why, explain the economy is bad (literally, the guy tried to give me a 60 second lesson on economics) and tried the usual retention pitch. I said thanks but no thanks, please cancel renewal. I suppose for every generation there are the Chavvy cars, which often come full circle and become classic. I mean when I first driving a Renault 5 GT Turbo was a £500 chav car, now find a good one cheap along with all the other hot hatches of the era. I actually think the Golf-R is a fine looking car (in the right colour combo) and a subtly spec'd A35/45 or 135/140 can all look really good. Sadly there is an image around them and it wouldn't put me off owning one but I'd be very very mindful of how it was treated by previous owners. Well, certainly the week for 'bold' new releases!I like the back end, not a fan of the paint scheme and the interior 'orange' (especially the steering wheel) is a definite, no.It's has something of an old Matchbox Superkings Mustang from teh side and that front splitter just feels way too much.

i've seen some horrednously modified lambo urus, new range rovers etc, so money/social class doesn't seem to matter. I do live very close to a premier league football ground so its more than likely the players. For more common stuff, i have to agree, fast VAG/BMW seem to be the main culprits.

I had a good time with my little Lupo back in about 2008. Admittedly it was a modified Sport not GTi although did make a reasonable 117bhp on Surrey rolling road. I'm surprised they're not a bit more expensive to guy as I'd have expected the GTi to have gone a bit silly as many cars have as they age. Always thought the interior was cleverly designed as all the room was up front with naff all room for the rear passengers and boot. So even at 6'1 it wasn't silly to get in and out of.
